J&PM Deli-Grill — Restaurant in Elizabeth

I live nearby and typically dine at this restaurant about once a week. I always order the chili cheese fries, and the man who usually prepares them does an excellent job. However, during my most recent visit, a woman finished preparing my meal after the man started it by placing the fries in the fryer. Normally, the man cooks enough fries to fill my takeout container, but I noticed the woman left some fries in the bowl, rather than adding them to my order. Although my container was nearly full, I didn’t comment at the time.

Additionally, instead of using a small bowl of chili directly from the warmer as the man typically does, the woman only took a portion from the small bowl and diluted the chili with water before adding it to my fries. Again, I didn’t say anything because I don't usually like to complain, and I figured it would still taste fine.

Before leaving, I politely mentioned to the man that my chili cheese fries didn’t look the way I expected and asked if he could be the one to prepare my order in the future. He agreed.

After returning home, which is just across the street, I tried to eat the fries but found them inedible. They lacked salt, and the watered-down chili made a noticeable difference in taste. I returned to the restaurant about five minutes later to ask if the man could fix my meal, not for a refund or a new order, but just to correct the issue.
