So this restaurant is in a spot where there is no parking. Their little lot could fit more than 2 cars but the way people were parked wouldn’t really allow you to back out easily. I like the decor in the front room but the back reminds me of an old bar. The decor in the front dining room is nice even if they still have happy Valentine’s Day decor up and it’s August Our waitress didn’t speak much English so there goes ordering to your desire bc you cannot express your desires. She didn’t offer us the happy hour menu even though this place boasts about their happy hour and we were there at 5pm, right smack dab in the middle of their happy hour. Nothing was happy about the prices. There were two of us. We got one strawberry margarita each and they were each $20. They pack a nice punch but most of their drinks are around $20 and most of them use house liquor. Get outta here w that. I pay $13-$15 for margaritas w casamigos in most places so to pay for house crap and pay $20 is wild. Tacos- we got el pastor and birria. Both were delicious and plentiful but $20 each. You get no sides. Nothing. If you want to get chips and Guac- another $20. Why is it $20 for guacamole and chips? Crazy times we’re living in. They don’t give you any chips and salsa to start. No sides. Everything is ala carte. So overrated. Don’t believe everything you see on TikTok or IG. And don’t expect any discounted drinks during happy hour. lol. And one napkin for messy birria tacos. I had to wait to get another. Take $4 off that gratuity bc I couldn’t even wipe my mouth. Then for two people they added 18% gratuity. For what?! I couldn’t even communicate what I friggin wanted. I mean our server was nice and smiled a lot but that didn't help us much. That was the two stars for service bc she was nice and smiled but we could not communicate our wishes. So for 2 people, two orders of tacos ( cant call it an entree bc nothing comes with it) and twi margaritas with gratuity, our bill was $98. I could’ve went to the Taco Foodtruck and been happier w the prices. I feel like this restaurant OWES me money for the trouble it took to find parking. Highway friggin robbery for having to park a block away at that and not even be offered happy hour drinks. This isn't some classy restaurant but they're charging classy prices and "valet" parking w no one outside is an extra $5. lol. I liked my tacos. they were good and plentiful but I will go elsewhere for them going forward. I also felt they had good flavor unlike some of the reviews I’ve read. Ever hear the saying "one and done"? Never agin will La Llorona make a profit off of me w their ridiculous overpricing and crappy location. I will spend money on a good meal and I will tip 20% or more but not when you decide for a party of two to throw a tip on and you can’t even communicate menu items with me. Cheap money hungry establishment located in inconvenient location.

Tried this place two times before writing a review. The first time I went had to cut my visit short as one thing I noticed was an employee vaping inside the restaurant while working. The second thing that made me just pay my check and leave was that we advised the waiter after getting our drinks that we are ready to order, he said ok and just walked away after my girlfriend told him an appetizer order and nothing else he just walked away. We left for those two reasons and decided to try them again at a later date. The following week we went back to try this restaurant. Again the mixed drinks were good both times no complaints there and the atmosphere location is really nice. Has nice leds going around, good music and seems like the paintings are also hand done which are nice as well. This time around we ordered food, I can say the food is not something to race home about, it’s good but not something that would make me return again to eat. The street corn was good, the flautas were also good. My cousin had the Al pastor tacos which were okay (they were spicy) and my girl had camarones al ajillo and those were spicy as well which usually aren’t if you order at other Mexican restaurants. Overall 1 star for the ambiance, 1 star for the drinks and 1 star for valet parking and lose 2 stars for staff & food.

We reserve tables and bar for over 50 bikers and parking area. Manager kept her word and moved the cars from parking. Nice bar, tables and long boot along the wall with tables. Clean bathroom and double. Food, is good, I could use a little more flavor on the beef meat of the tacos but Limon and hot sauce did it. Other friends said food was good. Manager and waiters were great attentive, (I had a small issue requested to pay my bill right away but I had a open tab with Manager) Drinks, mojito was ok, cyroc and pineapple need it to be redone 3 times, at end I gave it away. Music was ok, didn't see no DJ and some song were repeating. Hookah! Was good. Prices were ok as other places have the some high prices. Paying the bill was easy and fast and didnt see extra charges as other places. Very nice staff and attentive! No dance floor but we did the best(we were at back by bar and tables) front I saw tables and I believe a DJ area set up. Set up designs and painting were nice. Music volumes good. Lighting was good nothing crazy or flashing. Menu small and simple which makes it easier. Food came out in good amount of time. Buckets of beers 6 in it I believe $30 for regular costumers. AC was good, no like other place( Don felix) just fans. Place just opened up , will see if in future will do another event.

How they even got th rating they have I honestly don’t know. The service was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Literally waited over 15 min for a table when they actually had plenty of seating available. But it wasn’t that we waited. It was the snide rudeness of the Hostess. She LITERALLY SAID WAIT OUTSIDE AND CLOSED A RED DOOR IN OUR FACES. Then when we were FINALLY seated. We were told that it was a mistake and told to get up. And sat in a corner. Which I guess we were forgotten because we did not have a drink order taken for Literally over 45 minutes. And YESSSSS I TIMED IT. When we finally got some attention they gave us complimentary shots. Instead of just bringing the initial drinks we ordered. Whan we brought it to their attention. We were told WITH A CONDESCENDING TONE. That we could choose to have the drinks and Leave so because they didn’t want us to have a bad experience. Finally get our drinks. And then waited for our food. When I received it . I had silverware. To eat with. Mind you we are over an hour in waiting. So now I ask for a napkin and was given on cocktail napkin each. While other patrons had cloth napkins. So I asked for real napkins and he says, oh you want Fabric Napkins. And I responded to by saying I wanted the same napkins that the Hispanic patrons had next to us. So I couldn’t help but to notice that all the patrons that were NOT Hispanic did not have water or any chips or anything at their tables. The waiting was crazy. But the best is that when we get the expensive check they had the the Audacity to tip themselves 15%. What’s sad is that yes the ambience is cute but late Ricky Ricardo want to be ruin the vibe so bad with all his nonstop singing which I am I opinion was not meant for such a youthful crowd. The food was good but how did they want me to eat this triple Guacamole meal with one chip yes I said one chip. It didn’t even look like what I saw in the video. I felt robbed of so much. Although they try to compensate by giving us shots the service and the food portions was not worth what we paid for at all. Like honestly I couldn’t help but feel a little bit of their Racism towards my friend. Their ignorance of thinking that Spanish people only look one way is sad. Mind you I am a Hispanic woman and I saw right through them. All I can say about this place...

Terrible ! I’ve dined in multiple times and it’s been good ! I’ve ordered for delivery and it has been horrible each time they forget at least 2-3 items and give old stale food and offer no resolution when I call. I order straight from their website . Tonight was just the last time . I ordered over $200 worth of food as per usual . They forgot half of ny order and when I called the manager said the driver didn’t take the bag it’s his fault ! I’m like how if your giving him the stuff but ok. He said he couldn’t do anything and said “bueno and hung up on me” On top of it all we tried to make the best of it . The food was just horrible the elotes were like black brown like old . The cheese tasted like it was curd and left out all day. Then the quesadillas looked like they had fallen into the floor and they just grabbed and threw it in the to go container. There were like black and brown crumb like stuff on it . Which leads me to believe it did fall on the floor ! It was horrible disgusting . We ended up throwing all of the food away as everything looked mishandled. Just terrible . We ordered from their site couldn’t even request refund credit nothing and the manager well obviously didn’t care . We had to place an order with. Roques House at 1092 Elizabeth ave they were excellent great presentation a lot of food cheap and great service this will be my new go to for my family and I . Llorona is overpriced overrated and with this experience dirty. I’m sorry but not sorry . This place needs to improve on their customer service food presentation and insuring they get the food right along with fresh food . I never leave reviews like such but this definitely called for it . To the owner wow you should definitely speak to...
