We reserve tables and bar for over 50 bikers and parking area. Manager kept her word and moved the cars from parking. Nice bar, tables and long boot along the wall with tables. Clean bathroom and double. Food, is good, I could use a little more flavor on the beef meat of the tacos but Limon and hot sauce did it. Other friends said food was good. Manager and waiters were great attentive, (I had a small issue requested to pay my bill right away but I had a open tab with Manager) Drinks, mojito was ok, cyroc and pineapple need it to be redone 3 times, at end I gave it away. Music was ok, didn't see no DJ and some song were repeating. Hookah! Was good. Prices were ok as other places have the some high prices. Paying the bill was easy and fast and didnt see extra charges as other places. Very nice staff and attentive! No dance floor but we did the best(we were at back by bar and tables) front I saw tables and I believe a DJ area set up. Set up designs and painting were nice. Music volumes good. Lighting was good nothing crazy or flashing. Menu small and simple which makes it easier. Food came out in good amount of time. Buckets of beers 6 in it I believe $30 for regular costumers. AC was good, no like other place( Don felix) just fans. Place just opened up , will see if in future will do another event.

So this restaurant is in a spot where there is no parking. Their little lot could fit more than 2 cars but the way people were parked wouldn’t really allow you to back out easily. I like the decor in the front room but the back reminds me of an old bar. The decor in the front dining room is nice even if they still have happy Valentine’s Day decor up and it’s August Our waitress didn’t speak much English so there goes ordering to your desire bc you cannot express your desires. She didn’t offer us the happy hour menu even though this place boasts about their happy hour and we were there at 5pm, right smack dab in the middle of their happy hour. Nothing was happy about the prices. There were two of us. We got one strawberry margarita each and they were each $20. They pack a nice punch but most of their drinks are around $20 and most of them use house liquor. Get outta here w that. I pay $13-$15 for margaritas w casamigos in most places so to pay for house crap and pay $20 is wild. Tacos- we got el pastor and birria. Both were delicious and plentiful but $20 each. You get no sides. Nothing. If you want to get chips and Guac- another $20. Why is it $20 for guacamole and chips? Crazy times we’re living in. They don’t give you any chips and salsa to start. No sides. Everything is ala carte. So overrated. Don’t believe everything you see on TikTok or IG. And don’t expect any discounted drinks during happy hour. lol. And one napkin for messy birria tacos. I had to wait to get another. Take $4 off that gratuity bc I couldn’t even wipe my mouth. Then for two people they added 18% gratuity. For what?! I couldn’t even communicate what I friggin wanted. I mean our server was nice and smiled a lot but that didn't help us much. That was the two stars for service bc she was nice and smiled but we could not communicate our wishes. So for 2 people, two orders of tacos ( cant call it an entree bc nothing comes with it) and twi margaritas with gratuity, our bill was $98. I could’ve went to the Taco Foodtruck and been happier w the prices. I feel like this restaurant OWES me money for the trouble it took to find parking. Highway friggin robbery for having to park a block away at that and not even be offered happy hour drinks. This isn't some classy restaurant but they're charging classy prices and "valet" parking w no one outside is an extra $5. lol. I liked my tacos. they were good and plentiful but I will go elsewhere for them going forward. I also felt they had good flavor unlike some of the reviews I’ve read. Ever hear the saying "one and done"? Never agin will La Llorona make a profit off of me w their ridiculous overpricing and crappy location. I will spend money on a good meal and I will tip 20% or more but not when you decide for a party of two to throw a tip on and you can’t even communicate menu items with me. Cheap money hungry establishment located in inconvenient location.

Tried this place two times before writing a review. The first time I went had to cut my visit short as one thing I noticed was an employee vaping inside the restaurant while working. The second thing that made me just pay my check and leave was that we advised the waiter after getting our drinks that we are ready to order, he said ok and just walked away after my girlfriend told him an appetizer order and nothing else he just walked away. We left for those two reasons and decided to try them again at a later date. The following week we went back to try this restaurant. Again the mixed drinks were good both times no complaints there and the atmosphere location is really nice. Has nice leds going around, good music and seems like the paintings are also hand done which are nice as well. This time around we ordered food, I can say the food is not something to race home about, it’s good but not something that would make me return again to eat. The street corn was good, the flautas were also good. My cousin had the Al pastor tacos which were okay (they were spicy) and my girl had camarones al ajillo and those were spicy as well which usually aren’t if you order at other Mexican restaurants. Overall 1 star for the ambiance, 1 star for the drinks and 1 star for valet parking and lose 2 stars for staff & food.

First time visiting La llorona and I was pleasantly surprised! Definitely a bit pricey but very good eats and the drinks were good as well. I had the birria quesadilla and elotes and chips with guacamole. Also for dessert had the churros with ice cream. The artwork is also noteworthy and beautiful! Good ambience.
