Met out of town family at Si Senor last night around 6:30pm. They were quick with the chips and salsa, the waitress was super friendly. When we walked in there was a party of 8 in the front room, and since we wanted to catch up we asked for a 6 top in the back just inside the arch. Food arrived pretty quick, but, I have to say, maybe the worst Mexican Food I have ever eaten. I asked my wife why we ended up at Si Senor she said her out of town sister suggested we try it. I got the street tacos, the tortilla's were like wet and rubbery and the fillings were dry and very over cooked, very sad for $15.00. As we visited there was a lot of loud talking and laughing right behind us, I turned to see what was going on and realized we had made a mistake asking for this table as it was right beside the kitchen window and the waitresses and cooks visited loudly. In that the restaurant was very empty they has a lot of time to talk. Si Senor has some serious competition in Elizabethton with, Amigos, El Charolais and now Puerto Nuevo, all serving vastly more superior food that Si Senor. I picked up the bill totaling $125 +, very expensive...
Read moreFirst time here, tried the lunch combo special. Love the salsa as well as the black bean dip, very flavorful, as were the refried beans and Mexican rice. A hard shell beef taco was a hit as well. The only thing I wished was different was the enchilada sauce. It was tomatoey-sweet, more like something I'd expect on pasta. If they would simmer it with a bit of guajillo and ancho peppers, garlic and a touch of cumin, it would add more authentic flavor without being too spicy. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was outstanding. Will definitely be back to sample more...

Si Señor is legit, delicious and not covered in "queso sauce". The staff is friendly and on top of it, the salsa is real and delicious, I love the black bean sauce they bring out with the warm chips, the carnitas was moist and flavorful, the quesa birria was on point. Their rice and beans did not disappoint. Overall, not only the best Mexican I've had in months, but I have yet to find anything around...
