The Waffle House management at this location really needs to get their staff together. Food was great... the employees were confused who was to be waiting on what tables, and openly debated this amoungst other items on the front line. When the waitress took the ticket to cash me out and realized she didn't wait on my table, she let the other waitress know she wasn't checking out her table, and they debated back and fourth until a manager stepped in.
I believed myself to be a Waffle House conassour. I've ventured out to them on several occasions with a very consistent experience. Today's visit was the most memorable. After the waiter came by and took the drink order, followed by the waitress. I could tell by the banter between her and the store manager this visit would truly be one to remember. Waitress #3 came by to verify the order waitress #2 took, which was incorrect. By the time the fourth waitress brought the food, I felt like we all had gotten to know each other pretty well. As I went to cash out, waitress #4 was expressing how she would not cash anyone else out because she was about to lose it to one of her peers. The manager came out from the back and let waitress #4 know she needed to "ring out table 10". Waitress #4 took my ticket at the register and then turned to the manager to tell her that "waitress #2 waited on them" . She then she yelled at waitress #2 to cash me out. Waitress #2 then had some back and fourth banter with waitress #4 and told her she only wrote out the ticket and didn't not wait on table 10... So she would not cash me out. This led to the store manager telling waitress #4 to cash me out a second time. Needless to say, the store manager at this location definitely has...
Read moreThe cook was absolutely disrespectful, and rude. We came to this establishment last night and there were multiple individuals in the restaurant talking and having a good time! We were having a blast, and were so thrilled to catch up with one another.
This is where things get very out of hand, and I felt so bad for the waitresses because if the cook talked to them like he did to us it wouldnât be a surprise why this establishment canât keep anyone working there.
Our bread was burnt. And was blackened to a crisp, and had it not been trying to make things easier for the server we would have sent our food back. The hashbrowns were absolutely hard, and might as well had to have used chip fries for hasbrowns.
Now, if youâre going to work at Waffle House you need to be used to a friendly, talkative environment or you just need to fill out your application somewhere else where the kitchen is away from customers.
The cook took it upon himself to control the jukebox, and turn it up really loud, after just screaming at the top of his lungs at each and every person as a whole in the restaurant. This was very displeasing and made a lot of people angry and upset.
Waffle House- you need to find a cook who will either learn to control his temper, be a better example around children, and learn to enjoy his job as well as READING the tickets.
Shame on you Waffle House for not choosing better cooks. As much as everyone there could have complained about the food, and we didnât he should have just kept his mouth...
Read moreI very rarely take the time to write a poor review but after our experience today I thought Iâd let other people know what to expect when they go to this Waffle House. The restaurant wasnât super busy when we got there so we were surprised that it took us about 10 or 15 min just waiting on our server to bring us our drinks (he had just plain forgotten). We waited for 30 min on our food when they finally brought âpartâ of my fatherâs order. It was explained that the cook had forgotten to cook the rest of the order. So we waited....thinking that a mistake like that would be priority in the cooking line. We waited and waited more...once I finally got my order, my bacon was burnt on one side and uncooked on the other, eggs cooked wrong, and toast wasnât really toast, it was literally butter on white bread that wasnât toasted. At this point my fathers food was cold and they never even brought him his toast. We asked if he could have fresh âunburntâ order of eggs and hash browns. We waited for about 20 more minutes and finally just asked if we could pay for what had actually been given to us and get the heck out of there. The servers and the cooks were arguing and no one was getting the service the deserved. After a whole hour and not even getting our complete order ever brought to us we finally left. Hands down the worst experience weâve ever had at any restaurant....ever. ADVCIE: go to ANY other Waffle House in a 50 mile radius before you go...
