Hardee’s — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

When purchasing from this location I would recommend to make sure that you get a receipt. More than likely when you leave the location you will not have what you ordered. I had a bad experience at this location. My dad had went purchased three steak biscuits and a small coffee and it was $16. He got home and we only had two of the steak biscuits. I contacted the store they wanted me to come back I stated that I was going out of town. The lady took my information and stated come at another time. I would recommend you getting her information. When I arrived at the location today they asked who I spoke with and the lady didn’t say her name and then she asked about a receipt which nobody provided the receipt the first time. Then she stated that she couldn’t give away free food. I wasn’t trying to get free food I was getting food that was owed to me. Then I’m assuming she found the information because she gave me my biscuit. But I wasn’t happy that she thought that I was just trying to get free food. I work in the food industry I know how it works. They need to get a little well organized. I’m thinking that’s why I don’t never see many cars at this location...

Any other time I have ever been to Hardee's it's been a wonderful experience. However, this past Monday, March 1, was a major exception to the rule. There appeared to be a new crew, as no one looked familiar. We ordered the 2 hot ham and cheese box, and two of the double cheese and chicken sandwich boxes.

To start off with, I had asked for regular buns on the hot ham and cheese sandwiches, but they didn't fix them that way. Then, much to my surprise, the buns were as hard as rocks. I literally took the top bun off the sandwich and knocked it against the table with a loud crack each time it hit the table. I took it back and AGAIN asked for no-seed buns, but again, the seeded buns came out. I was actually afraid to take it back again, but since my daughter can't eat the seeds, I had to risk it. What came out was a foul-smelling sandwich and she wound up eating somewhere else.

We WILL eat here again, because as I said, this was a first for us. But if it happens again, we most assuredly will not...

Went today for lunch. They sensors in the drive thru aren't working. The sign day "say hello" I did but no answer. the 3 cars in in drive thru left after 7 mins of nothing. I ventured inside I was going there for someone else. I entered. No one at the counter. They were all enjoying conversation in the managers office. I voiced anyone with her they came out a new employee just hired he apologized. I have my order.

As they started my order I noticed no one washed their hands. Before touching food. There were fries sitting there before I came in. The last getting my fries agreed the manage to do more fries because these were old and had been sitting a long time. The nasty manager. Scooped up the old fries And place then back in the basket and put them back into the fryer. I told them I wasn't eating that. So they put me fries in. I got my order and left.
