Not the cleanest or that up to date. Layout is kind of weird compared to other Walmarts. Shoppers here are not the best in being friendly. Kind of rude to each other. A lot of opened merchandise and damaged goods on left all over. I guess that's why they have more door security.
I don't know who owns the parking lot and in charge of lights at night but there's this single unmarked speed bump that without a warning sign that is there which scrapped and damaged my cars undercarriage that I now have to pay for a shop to fix the unknown damage as my car is leaking fluid from my coolant system for my engine. I wasn't even going fast as I just turned from a parking lane I was parked in and my tires went over this bump and down on the frame under my door with a surprising hard force that my diver's side molding on my door is popped out as it scraped my underside of the car. My car stands naturally low so I have to be careful but I was going low speed to not hit the people coming out of the parking lanes that don't yield and still got damaged to my vehicle on this random speed bump. It snapped a bolt to my thermostat which caused my car to overheat as it was leaking. Paint that bump with reflection yellow paint, put up warning signs, better lot lighting, or just remove it as I can't be the first person to get surprised at night on this speed bump or get some type of damages. If you see this bump then I advise driving around it especially if your vehicle sits low or has spoiler skirts as something with break, scrap, and get damaged.
UPDATE: I guess I might not be the first person that this happened to as they have put new bright lights in the lot now but that speed bump is still there and unmarked that scraped the and damaged my car that I had to take to a shop and get my insurance...
Read moreSimply put: I visted this store, and experienced the good, until I went to the automotive department to inquire about the in-store or online availability of a full set of Yokohama tires for my truck. The attendant stepped to the counter, and said nothing as he looked at me for a second before asking "what do you need!" I initiated a greeting of: "Hey, how are you today?" He didnt respond, and gave me another stale "What do you need?" I respectfully told him he could've at least returned a greeting... that's how customer service works! Nothing after that, so I walked away then stepped back toward him to biew his name tag. I was ajle to speak with the store manager (I think her name is Jessica), but eventually, her body language went astray from me to a shelf as she began to adjust a couple items, and said "Thanks for letting me know!" Well, I was still misstatement of beginning to ask if she would check the availability of those tires... which were $550 each!!! Do the math: $550x4 = $2,200, not to mention the battery jump box ($100), jumper cables ($34), and a wifi extender that I was about to backtrack and purchase after buying the tires.
Moral of this: Refusal to greet a consumer (military veteran) with a "hello... hi... how are you" in response to my greeting kept about $2500 from reaching Wal-Mart's register! That guy (I think his tag read the name Dirknan) needs more than diversity training; he needs to be reborn from his mother's birth canal, and grow up learning about people if color in a completely different...
Read moreDefinitely won’t visit this location much anymore. Made a purchase at self checkout & selected cash back. Mistakenly forgot the cash which I take full accountability, but because I’ve had this experience once before at the Belvidere Walmart location & the worker in self checkout acted promptly by checking the area after me (which I assumed is the reason for the workers to stand there and monitor not just theft of their items, but also things customers may have left behind before ushering in the next customer to use the machine, but I guess I was wrong) seeing the money & immediately taking it to customer service where I picked it up after they reviewed their footage, I thought I was in good hands once I realized I forgot to grab my money. WRONG! I went back and showed the worker in self checkout the time I checked out, where I checked out and explained what happened. He called the manager to check the footage but IMMEDIATELY let me know if the $20 was taken by another customer, that isn’t their issue…. Manager comes, checks the receipt which shows the time (15 minutes prior), checks the footage with AP to come back and tell me the customer after me took the money so unfortunately that isn’t on them. Again, I take full accountability for my mistake in leaving my money, however, working customer service for 10 years +, there’s a better way that could’ve been taken care of. I will take my business to other locations that value...
