District 56 is beautiful and family oriented. I've been here before for night market, but my first time to eat at the Cafe. They serve basic coffee, sandwiches, and cooked Filipino food. I ordered kare-kare over rice with bagoong on the side. Delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot my water at home. The lady pointed the ref, so I grabbed the soda quick. They won't hold the line for you.
