Update on this review: nothing Bundt cakes responded to my post. I contacted them via the email they provided. No one ever responded back to me!! It has been 4 months!
I have ordered from this company at least once and sometimes twice a month for the past 3 years for my business(5-10 boxes of cakes each time). Last weekend was my daughter’s 10th birthday. I picked up a large customs decorated cake and two boxes of customized cupcakes. When I got home and opened everything , to my horror, one of the boxes looked like this(see the picture)! I called them immediately and asked if they could help me with it as my guests were to arrive in a bout 15 min! THE MOST UNHELPFUL place! After back and forth on the call, I asked for their manager to call me. I sent them a picture of what the box looked like. The manager would not take ownership of the damaged box and blamed it on me instead!!! They would not deliver another box to me to exchange it and said if they did, they would charge 35$ Delivery fee! They didn’t even offer to refund for that one box that was damaged (which is only 25$ and not a big deal, it’s the principle of it that matters! ). The fact that after all these years of loyalty and many $$$ in orders, this place wouldn’t even try to help me was beyond disappointing! I waited couple of days to write a review for two reasons: 1) I wanted to make sure my emotions were cooling off, which they are. 2) To see if they would try to reach out and make it right, which they did not! So here we are! I don’t recommend this place any longer and I will not go back to them! I will try to find a place that takes pride in their products and customer...
Read moreTo celebrate my son’s birthday, he typically asks for a vanilla cake from the local Nugget. However, as he settles into being a tween, he switched things up this year and requested a snickerdoodle bundt cake. Ironically, a Nothing Bundt Cakes recently opened down the street from our home, making it easy for me to walk in (I literally walked to this location) and place the order. Since it’s the holiday season, I placed the order for my son’s cake five days prior to his actual birthday.
Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by an employee who immediately asked inquiring questions pertaining to the order. She confirmed the size of the cake (8” that serves 8 people), flavor (Snickerdoodle), and Frosting Option (Signature Frosting Petals). Since we were celebrating a birthday, I opted for the “Snickerdoodle Happy Bundt Day” package that comes with some optional birthday decorations (i.e., quote card, sentiment flag, bow, message card). She then confirmed the pickup date and time of December 28 at 10 am.
I arrived on December 28 at noon to retrieve the cake. Although the establishment was busy, an employee assisting a customer greeted and stated that someone would assist me as they became available. Roughly five minutes later I was walking out of the establishment with my son’s cake. The cake was not only well-packaged and true to our expectations, it was fresh & delicious…I think I will be ordering a confetti bundt cake for my next birthday...
Read moreI was so excited to start this job in 2019 because I love baking. But the excitement was ruined by rude coworkers and rude managers to the point I was literally in TEARS. Although the girl who trained me (I forgot her name) was pretty nice and helpful, but the days she wasn’t there the girls who were there were downright rude to me and were really bad at training, they basically just expected me to wing it and didn’t want to help me whatsoever. The last manager Nicolette and Monica always made me feel stupid for simply asking them a question and I can see they were annoyed. I even caught Nicolette rolling her eyes at me behind my back for no reason at all, I just asked “where did you want me to put these?” That’s literally all I asked I mean come on no need to be disrespectful over that, but of course acted fake in front of the owner when he came in one day. So incredibly immature. Then Nicolette gets me fired and doesn’t even have the descentsy to be there when I pick up my last check and discuss it with me. If you’re going to manage a business or be a team lead then you should be professional because this is a job, it is not high school. New employees need to be trained in case you didn’t know and not feel dumb for asking questions when they need your help. But thankfully my horrible experience here led me to bigger and better things. I hope they’re treating their employees they have now better than...
