BAD Bakers Elk Grove — Restaurant in California

Sorry for the one star on service. Service is good when I patronize them. I gave one star because lately every time I've gone there is a line and only one person helping customers. At some point, a business needs to make the decision to respect customers' time and hire additional staff to get them in and out on time. As a rule of thumb I will wait no more than ten minutes in a business then I walk out--unless I simply have nothing to do. But to wait 15-20 minutes to be seen in a donut shop is unacceptable. On two occasions I was on a lunch break and I was late getting back to work both times. I understand the payroll issue, but that's the cost of doing business even if the store isn't always busy. I judge restaurants and other stores the same way. At least in a restaurant I expect something of a wait--but not to buy donuts or seniorita bread.

That said, I love everything about BBs, and wear my BBs hat at least 2-3...

My family and I stopped here for a quick doughnut since we happened to be in the area. The interior space was beautifully done with a very clean and modern aesthetic. The doughnuts themselves were decorated nicely with lots of unique combinations and flavors you won't find at a regular doughnut shop. There was also a nice selection of Filipino savory goods available as well. Unfortunately, the three doughnuts we picked were stale and possibly even a day old! 🤦🏻‍♀️ For a company whose motto is "served fresh daily", we were HIGHLY disappointed. We didn't have an issue with the taste whatsoever but they definitely could have been fresher. While I don't mind paying good money for quality products, I think $14 for four stale doughnuts was quite overpriced. I'm not sure if I would come here again, may give one of their other locations a try and hope for the...

Only go here for staxx and they’re great but last time I went was for Mother’s Day. I ordered a 50 pc staxx online and got confirmation. Upon arriving to the store there was a sign on the door “staxx sold out” I went inside and told a girl who was working at the time about my order and the sign. So, I asked for a refund and she didn’t know what to do. She took my number down and said the manager would contact me. Few days passed and never received anything. I sent an email. No response. I disputed the charge to golden 1 and they temporarily stopped the charge. Fast forward 2 months later golden 1 reversed the dispute because the merchant provided documentation that I participated in the transaction. Of course I did, but I never received my damn items. So, I ain’t buying shit here ever again....
