Mucho Loco Mexican Restaurant Elk River — Restaurant in Elk River

We came in right around dinner rush. We were expecting to have a total of 10 guests. We were seated at a high top long table, which was perfectly okay. Five of us had arrived a little early. We weren't asked if we wanted drinks until after the other guests had arrived. Not to mention it had been 10 minutes of sitting by then. We had continued chatting around the table and were unsure of even WHO our servers was. There were 3 different ones circling our table. After about 10 more mintues I had personally asked one of the servers if THEY were ready to take our order. I've never in my life had to asked to be served. Once again yes it was during dinner rush, but this was a large table! We got our food, ate and stacked our dishes neatly as always, set beside the edge of the table. Over and over again servers would pass by our table and look but not take anything. Never did they once ask anyone if they'd like a refill on their beverage, whether it was soda or alcohol. I am beyond baffled with the poor service my family has received tonight. 3 stars is right because the food yes is delicious. But when I go out, I dont like to question the staff, that why it made for a bad experience. I have heard so many good things about mucho loco so I'd thought I'd try it today. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Hopefully it was just a bad night, only time will tell when I return...

My kids, my mom and I came in after a matinee movie. This was the worst experience I have ever had in any Mexican restaurant!!

My mom and I ordered the chicken AND beef fajitas. They delivered us only chicken. We asked that the fajita vegetables to be separate from the meat and they didn’t do that either. The kids menu is extremely overpriced for what’s offered and they do not offer milk only fountain drinks for kids. The price for the drink is INCLUDED in the meal (which is typical for restaurants) but will not compensate for the difference if they get water. Then we had asked for a piece of paper and was given a Togo box.... we never knew who our server was the entire time. We had multiple people who were walking around but no one seemed to have our table in their “section”. The person who seated us we believe is the manager or owner and he was bery rude. When we were seated he just grabbed menus and started walking so we had to just assume we were the ones being seated and then he just put the menus on the table and walked away.

This is not somewhere I would recommend and we will not be returning. We have gone to many Mexican restaurants and loved it. This is by far the worst...

I LOVE this place, I just went there today. And I haven't been there for a year. I live close by. A grabbed an order to go. So I didn't see the burrito that I used to get so I asked if I can substitute things from a different one and he said yes of course. So I told him the burrito that I wanted and then I started the customize it and then he points to another burrito and said it's right there I didn't see it but they already had one that was really close to what I wanted so I only made one or two substitutes and it was the best burrito I have ever had it was so delicious and they cooked it fresh and I got to me in like 7 minutes and I got two tacos to the side and they're soft taco is so good and I'm a beef guy so I got ground beef on everything my two tacos and my burrito it was just so delicious and it was covered with that white cheese oh that was the best thing I've eaten in months I highly recommend this place to anybody that enjoys good Mexican food they...
