My mom called on Saturday afternoon an order of chicken, wedges, and mashed potatoes and gravy for pickup on Sunday at 12:30, something done many times without a hitch. This time however when I arrived at 12:30, the order was nowhere near ready.
First I was told 6 minutes. I waited 15 before coming back in, to be told shortly. Then, a supervisor of sorts, Josh, came out and offered to comp the wedges. A few minutes later, offered a 2 liter of pop (which was old and flat). After a half hour of waiting, they comped the whole bit. I was irritated that it took 33 minutes to get my order, but the fun didn't stop. Got the food back home, and it looked absolutely awful, skin was shredded off the chicken, and almost none of it was even hot. Barely warm actually. Never had this issue before here or anywhere else for that fact. Comped or not, worst quality of food and customer experience I've had in a very long time.
If I could post the pictures of the food received I would....
Read moreWe go here weekly because of the convenience and it has a nice variety of foods to choose from. Easy to bring kids too as there's alot of options that are kid friendly. Big bummer that they dont have soup ever. Generally good service food. Wouldn't recommend requesting a specific type of pizza to be made if it is busy at all as everyone was done eating by the time it was finally done. Also seemed to have an issue keeping the desert pizzas available when its busy. This was a huge bummer when you're there with kids that are ready to leave and done eating for it to take 15 20 mins for any dessert pizza to come out. I would also recommend grabbing plates that are at the end of the table and not interrupting conversations (was in the middle of scolding a my daughter for behavior) to ask if people are done with one in front of them. I understand pre busing is important but when someone continuously interrupts conversations and things it...
Read moreOddly enough for a place called pizza ranch, their pizza really isn't the star here. Their fried chicken is probably the best you are going to get around here.
Very kid friendly, pleasant and helpful staff, this place is up there as far as a family dining experience. This location is usually pretty clean and are willing to work with you for large group and special needs.
If you're not of the religious affiliation the music is easy enough to tune out thankfully, and there isn't much else shoving religion in your face which I appreciate, I find it very respectful.
At the end of the day, the food is good enough and it's a cozy enough place but it's not a five star experience though you won't regret it too much hopefully of you decide to come over to the pizza ranch!
Recommend the potatoes wedges, chicken and cactus bread very highly! And if you don't like pizza sauce there are other options like a butter garlic sauce which is...
