Avoid T-Mobile at all costs!
I recently had the misfortune of dealing with T-Mobile, and the whole experience was an absolute nightmare. My phone had a screen issue, and I went to them for assistance. Despite explaining the problem in detail, the first employee I encountered simply brushed me off, telling me to go to Batteries + instead. What a wild goose chase that turned out to be! Batteries + couldn't do anything about my screen issue, and this ridiculous runaround ended up wasting two full days of my time.
On the third day, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I researched and confirmed that my phone was still under warranty. I even became an authorized user on the account so that I could handle the claim without the account holder being present. When I called T-Mobile to explain my situation, the person on the phone was the only helpful individual I encountered throughout this ordeal.
However, my optimism was short-lived. When I walked into the store and explained that I wanted to use my warranty, the employee I dealt with immediately tried to sell me a new phone, making it sound like it was the only solution and that I could walk out with one if I paid off the remaining amount on my current phone. It was a blatant attempt to earn a commission.
When I insisted on using my warranty, she told me it had expired, which it had not. She even had the audacity to say, "I know you need to leave with a phone today," as if lying about my warranty was justified. The entire interaction was unprofessional and reeked of dishonesty. She seemed more interested in pushing sales and her personal comfort rather than helping customers.
She would sit on the desk and speak condescendingly to her coworkers. Side note, hygiene standards are a thing for a reason; an employee's hygiene shouldn't affect a customer's experience.
In the end, I realized I could have solved all my issues at home by myself in just 30 minutes with the right information. My visit to this T-Mobile store left me feeling grimy and thoroughly unsatisfied. My advice to anyone encountering issues with their devices: save yourself the trouble and find a solution on your own. T-Mobile is the last place you want to be...
Read moreThis company is a joke! Ask customer service about your "behavior score"... This location is no help, you wait hours for the staff to call the 800# for help. They are very unprofessional. Nothing is what they tell you and it is very frustrating as a paying customer to have to keep trying to get things right. In early OCT I called the 800# to cancel my service, they said go to the store, after waiting way too long at the store, the store called the 800#, they refused to cancel my service, 800# said I had to wait almost a month for my billing cycle, they wanted me to come back then. I left the equipment and insisted on canceling that day 10/05 (after speaking to a manager). Then they charged me for the next month of service, I called and they said they would refund it immediately. Nov I received a notice of a refund, so I called in to get it sent out. Now in mid Dec I have received 2 notices that they OWE ME, so I called again. Apparently, they do not keep notes in their system of the promised refunds (from OCT or NOV)... So I was promised my refund again! I am not holding my breath on getting it. Yesterday I was hung up on (when I asked for a manger), I called back only to be told that "he could do it", a manager (Carlos) finally called me back and didn't even care that I had such a bad experience with the company. I think they know they suck and don't care. I work in customer service and I would never treat my customers this way. I will never deal with this company again. If you are wise, you...
Read moreI have never had such a bad experience at a store in my entire life! I went in last week on 7/6 I got told two of the phones would be free to upgrade and one would cost an extra $230 to upgrade or free to switch it over from sprint. I was given a price for 3 lines but they couldn't switch the plan that night because all of the devices weren't there. A week later I come back 7/14 and give them the quote that had been given to me the previous week. They proceeded to tell me that the the phone would either cost $230 to upgrade or $175 to keep it. They then proceeded to tell me that the plan costs $30 more a month than I had been originally quoted. My girlfriends family signed up for the same plan the previous week at the price I was originally quoted. When I asked the manager how that happened she told me that my girlfriends family was told it would cost one price but they would later be receiving a bill in the mail for $30 a month more than what they had signed for. If this is true then this is a super shady business that no one should go to! Both the sales person and manager had absolutely no clue how to do anything. They had no clue how to handle the situation an kept giving me excuses. After wasting two hours of my time the manager didn't even have the guts to apologize for the incident. I honestly have no clue how she is a manager. Long story short, don't go to this store it is very poorly run and they are not...
