I was looking for a cheap place to stay when I stumbled upon this hostel. It's a little hard to find on Trip Advisor... hence this review which will hopefully help spotlight it a bit more.. Yet one stroll down Davis Ave in Elkins and you'll stumble across it. It looked closed because the lights were all out. Yet, I found the number on its website, called it, talked to a nice fella, and one minute later his mate who lives above the hostel was letting me in. ||||The location is great. It's right on the main drag. A few good restaurants are a stones throw away. ||||Bathrooms were clean and new. Everything else at the hostel looked relatively the same. Don't expect the Radisson when you come here. Yet if your familiar with typical standards for hostels, then this one is a very good one. I get the sense that the owners have done some serious traveling in Europe and appreciate the difference between good and poor hostels. ||||One more thing, if its cold, bring a sleeping bag. The sheets they have are good for most times of the year. But in the winter you might need a little extra insulation. I had to steal a few extra blankets from other open beds. I feel a bit bad about that since whoever has to clean up will have to make a few extra beds. Sorry. :(||||Thanks guys....

Then they played while I tasted other beers. excellent small town experience in the heart of beautiful West Virginia, The roof top deck was nice to chill on and had a great view of the mountains. Great spot for breakfast around the corner. 5 stars stay,...
