I generally make a point to support local businesses, but Jimbos represents exactly what keeps Buckhannon from moving forward. The issue isn’t just the product, it’s the company it keeps. When a business aligns itself with self-serving, self-centered individuals who present themselves as “community heroes” while operating out of ego and clique loyalty, it speaks volumes about its values. That kind of association overshadows any claim of community spirit. The Creamsickle drink (pictured) was one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while and my boyfriend loved that his beer came in a chilled mug! We tried lots of the bar food and everything was delicious and fast, despite how busy it was during the WVU basketball game. Read moreThis is a great locally owned sports bar in downtown Elkins! Lots of big screen TVs, frosty cold beer, and tasty food. The staff is always very friendly and attentive as well. I left my credit card there yesterday and Jimmy (the owner) took the time to search for me on Facebook and message me before I left town. I appreciated that greatly because I live an hour away.
