Please, Subway, Improve! They always have a sign that says hiring but are always short staffed. I know people who had put in applications last year that never got calls, and they followed up many times and have a good record. Food has been slowly declining in taste at this location compared to one by Walmart and one by Huttonsville, and the workers are sloth slow and don't take pride in their work. The workers there also put ZERO priority to Door Dashers and an employee admitted this in front of customers yesterday while holding half of a order having no clue what to even make for the customer I was picking up for. If you get a dash for this location in the evening pass it up, completely. One night as a dasher a few months ago, I waited 30 minutes because after coming in first and politely announcing I was waiting for a pickup, a group of 10 people (who were beyond indecisive) came right after and the employee said they were priority (even though the online order came first). 30 minutes was an extremely long time to wait, and I wish I were exaggerating. Another employee was on break at this same time (busy dinner hour) and there was a single worker making food, who does that? The order was reassigned with frustration because they had no sense of urgency or concern. Subway workers get hourly pay and Door Dashers get paid per delivery. I don't like leaving negative reviews but honestly I have given this place so many chances and tried to keep an open mind. Yes there tons more examples, but I'm not using any more of my time today. Read moreHorrible customer service. Save your time and patience and go to the Subway by US Cell. Before I even walked into the building, I could already sense the vibe of this place. Two employees were on break at the picnic table behind the restaurant. They could see where I parked from there. As I’m walking toward the door, one of the employees gets up, says some choice words, and makes her way to the restaurant. She walks in, frantically/angrily starts to put soap on her hands to wash. As I apologize for interrupting her break. She then tells me that SHE has not had a break all day. I explain that she won’t have to make a sandwich for me, I placed an online order and that it should be ready for pick up. She then tells me that it hasn’t been made yet, about half an hour after it’s guaranteed time. I told her to not worry about it and that I would cancel the order. i didn’t not want to deal with the attitude. I walk out. I get to my car and go on to the app. Turns out you can’t cancel a mobile order and you pay before you pick it up. I go back in explaining that I have already paid for the meal and would like it. She refuses to serve me and says that the restaurant never received the order in the first place. She proceeds to help the next people in line and ignores me. Read moreAbsolutely awful customer service. Actually there was no service at all. Me and a friend were walking by and we were a little hungry so we wanted to grab something from this subway. A male worker was finishing up an order and after that he ask me if I wanted anything and I told him I was and I was just looking at the menu and I would let him know when I was ready. Well he goes in the back to start preparing for future orders and this female worker comes out and takes my friends order. ( she’s looked like a middle aged woman short and chubby, maybe a manager(I hope not) while she’s taking my buddy’s order the male worker comes out and asks again if I’m ready and I said I was not ready yet but I thanked him and he started on prep again.( he’s pretty nice he’s not the one I’m writing this about) the woman who was taking my friends order was being so mean to us for no reason. Examples- Throwing food for no reason, having snarky remarks to us, trying to rush, etc. well she finished his order and I was finally about to start mine and she starts to walk away and closes everything up. I told her i was gonna order and in the meanest way possible she told me “you said you didn’t want anything” I told her I was just gonna order a 6’ sub and she walks away into the back.
