Here's the thing. I hate leaving low reviews. But when a place is as bad as this... i have to Things consistently an issue: The fries are almost always half full. If you order a large they do it so sparsely that if you dump it out and put it in a medium container the medium container it'll all fit and sometimes THAT so won't be full. Twice in 2 years have my fries been filled to the proper size i ordered. But I'm not too pickky about the fries. Usually things are made wrong. BigMacs usually have little to no sauce or so much the bread disintegrates as you try to eat it. When i order no pickles i consistently get pickles. Once there was one dead center in the burger and I'm just glad the person who ate it just doesn't like pickles and wasn’t allergic. NEVER COME HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY.
Today my big mac bread was so dry it literally crumbled in areas then was too hard to bite through when i took a bite cause i was so hungry i was willing to deal with bad food. So now I'm hungry and i have no food to eat cause the other food ordered was and the double cheese burger we also ordered had a store dry bun and it was super stale. I think this bread was literally left on the counter over night and someone there is too cheap and made employees use it instead of using not stale buns.
I've lost count of times that my order was missing something or had wrong things or the order messed up.
I would understand if it was only during busy times or super late or it happened rarely. But the food is so consistently bad.
Don't bother calling. I used to try. You know how many times I've heard "so what do you want me to do about it" when I've told a manager my burger was really messed up? A manager should know if the food isn't what was ordered it should be replaced and if the customer calling is being polite they shouldn't be rude. I'm a nice person. One of those annoyingly nice people so there's no need to be mean when all i say is "hi i just came in age my order is missing half the items" is not my fault half my items are missing and i want what i paid for or if i say "hi i did a pickup order and the burgers i ordered with only ketchup and there's a bunch of pickles and mustard on it could i please have a new one" the managerial thing to do is let me exchange the burgers instead of yelling me to "just pick off the pickles and wipe off the mustard" i was was literallyso shocked i just hung up (that was a few months ago but this year) . And I don't mention the fries to them cause i don't want to nit pick but when i order a big mac with extra extra sauce cause the last 4 times there was no sauce and I'm charged that extra money for extra sauce and there's still no sauce I don't feel it of line wanting it remade.
Some of the employees are nice, don't get me wrong, but I've tried to avoid for 2 years putting a bad review here. Look at my other reviews. I don't like leaving bad reviews and only do it to help others prevent from wasting their money too.
Why do i keep going back? Because every now and then when i order is actually perfect. Very very very very rare but when it does happen it's really good. It used to be consisting good but as the year has progressed its gotten steadily worse. But it's so much fewer and further between that after today chipping my tooth on that stupid super dry bread I'm done. And since I'm a foodie and many people ask my opinions on the food in town I'm changing from what I've been telling them "that highway McDonald's is a hit or miss on if it's good" to just warning them off. This is ridiculous
Editing to add we did get the breakfast this morning. And THAT was actually good. And we don't usually get fast food multiple times especially in one day but with our current crazy work schedules it was the only way we could eat together and that's why we got lunch there. Also why the 1 star review of breakfast was awesome? Because no one will answer the phone and maybe corporate will see this. If they do I want to make sure they know know the one breakfast...
Read moreLet me preface this by saying I have up to now always been impressed with the friendliness and speediness of this McDonald’s, but I just had the worst experience at a drive thru in my 56 years! I placed my order which went smoothly for the most part, and I’m asked to pull forward but the window for which to pull forward to was not very clear to me. Honestly, the speakers aren’t always the clearest and admittedly my hearing isn’t always the best, but I pull forward to pay. There is noone at the first window, so I pull up to the second which is often the window I’ve paid at in the past. The hispanic man who has often served me so well on other occasions, rudely grabs my card and mumbles “I said 1st window, this is not the first window”. I’m taken back by his smarmy remark and I let him know that I didn’t appreciate his rudeness and I explained to him, admittedly in a less than calm manner that no one was at the first window when I pulled through. This now turns into a screaming match which invoked the lady sweeping up behind this man. Now they are hollering at me that “I should have been patient and just waited for them at the first window!” I would have been happy to wait, if I had understood correctly. I wasn’t being impatient, I was just trying to get a burger. I have never experienced anything like that before. I’m a local business owner, and if I learned one of my employees treated a customer like that, they would no longer be my employee. No excuse for acting like that. I’m not calling for anyone to get fired and maybe this person was having a bad night or was fed up with deaf customers not following his orders, but that shouldn’t be taken out on people who are just trying to get a bite eat. I was so upset I couldn’t even eat the food. Won’t ever go back to that McDonald’s. I very rarely write negative reviews and I’m much more inclined to give kudos when I can but this was...
Read moreI was recently on a trip from Reno to Salt Lake City and stopped at this Mcdonalds location on the way to SLC. Worst service at a McDonalds I've ever had. The drive thru line was fairly long, and I needed to use the little boys room anyway, so I opted to go inside. As the only customer inside the store, I stood there waiting to place my order for approximately 15 minutes. There were a few vehicles that I recognized as being at the gas station next door when I pulled up, that had already gone through the long drive thru line, got their food, and left, while I still hadn't even been able to place an order yet. This wasn't due to a lack of employees seeing me... as I was passed by several employees, several times, as they were all going back and forth from inside to outside to get their orders of tamales from the tamale lady, distributing tamales to their fellow co-workers, and even exchanging money amongst themselves for payment of the tamales... Just as I was starting to think maybe I should just leave, or maybe order my lunch from the tamale lady, someone finally decided to stop and take my order. The only thing that saved this experience was that the food was the best McDonalds I've ever had in my life, seriously, and I've been to a lot of McDonalds.. The food was so good here, even after the terrible experience ordering, that I decided to give it another shot on the return trip a few days later... I was a little smarter this time, I decided to go through the drive through instead of risking the same issues as a few days prior. Well, it was a complete bust. The food sucked horribly the second time. If you're passing through on I-80 and want a quick bite to eat, I'd...
