Rolberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Elko

Food was good. Service was not great. We stood there a while, while someone was fixing food looking at us but not saying anything at all. A simple “hello someone will be with you shortly” would have been nice. The gal walked over and didn’t say hi or good morning or anything just “what would you like”. Really low toned. No thank you or anything. We waited for at least 20 mins for two burritos a potatoes, eggs and cheese and a sausage, eggs and cheese. Which wouldn’t have been an issue if they said we have a lot of call ahead orders so it’s going to be X amount of time. Plus we order Togo so the gal literally took the order, which is her JOB the cook fixed the food which is his JOB, and they ask for a tip. If you are asking for a tip a smile and some friendliness would be nice!

Rolberto's in Elko is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine! Since moving here, we’ve searched high and low for great food, and Rolberto’s has been hands down the best we’ve found.

The chorizo platter was nothing short of exceptional—bursting with flavor and easily the best we’ve ever had. While the cheese enchiladas were tasty, a touch of queso fresco would’ve taken them from “good” to “amazing.” That said, every bite still brought comfort and delight.

Their tortillas? Fresh and heavenly. And the horchata? A perfect balance of sweetness and spice—truly refreshing and delicious.

If you're in Elko and looking for a fantastic Mexican dining experience, Rolberto’s will surpass your expectations. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food and warm...

It is usually really good food ... we ordered 58$, tipped 10$...our observations... the shrimp cocktail wasn't even close to the picture on their wall... it was served in a large bowl/cup swimming in tomato juice small shrimp NOT worth the $$... Their burritos were pretty good. Fajitas came with 1 HUGE tortilla... fajita beef and veggies, very yummy!! Chicken a bit dry, but beef & veggies cooked perfectly, 4 of the same shrimp as in the cocktail... small. Beans flavorless... literal bean soup. We have been several times and loved it, disappointed at what seemed like changes. We will return to try one more time, still one of the best fast food places in our town... if better, I'll amend my review. Hopefully just...
