Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Elkton

This is the absolute worst Popeyes I have ever experienced. In addition to food never being hot or fresh, the chicken being dry and the biscuits being 5 seconds short of rock hard, and the red beans and rice being runny like soup the customer service is awful!!!!! If you check my reviews I typically only comment when I have good things to say but this place takes the cake in TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD!!!!!!! The cashier at the window will quickly turn away as you are ordering or asking questions to begin speaking in their native tongue and fratenizing /giggling while making you wait until they are done chatting about things that have nothing to do with your order (yes I understand Spanish) Now let's be clear I love diversity and believe every culture has something beautiful to add to society but lack of care and disregard can be understood in any language and they could truly care less that they are serving food or that someone is sitting there awaiting their attention to pay or order. I have retried this location multiple times with different cashiers and employees working over the years I've been in this area (at least 6 times a year) and the service and food is consistently bad, that is the only thing that's consistent! I recommend finding somewhere...

I will absolutely never eat here again!! I went through the drive thru and ordered a 16 pc family meal with Mac and cheese. Fries and 2 lg mashed potatoes along with a 8 pc spicy nugget. The service was fast but not accurate! I pulled forward to check my order I got a16 pc chicken a lg mashed potato 2 small red beans and rice… so I was missing my 8 pc spicy nugget and a lg mashed potato I tried to go inside and both doors were locked so I went back through the drive thru and explained in my order I received I got items that were not mine and told them what I was missing! The Spanish girl running the window told me that they were out of mashed potatoes. And I was like how can u run out. Then she proceeded to give me mashed potatoes after she told me they were out. She took the items back that were not mine and put them on the warmer plate to give to someone else. I asked her to throw them away!! I told her people are crazy and I could have spit in them and that she was nasty putting them back!! I’m sorry I don’t want food that has been in somebody bag and gone thru! If I could give zero stars I would. On three separate occasions I've ordered from here and they haven't put my full order in the box. I got home and didn't have enough chicken to feed my family. I called each time to make them aware but no one ever answers the phone. The last time I went, about a week ago, I informed them of what has been happening. A young male said oh don't worry I put extra in there. Then proceeds to talk to a young girl in Spanish, not knowing I'm half Puerto Rican. They were talking about me because I complained about being shorted food for my family. I said oh keep talking, I'm half Puerto Rican. The girl's mouth dropped open and she hit the guy on the back. They handed me my food and I left. When I got home...no extra chicken, not even the amount I ordered once again. It's not that difficult to count, that's a skill learned in grade school. I called the store again to no avail, so this time I went further and contacted corporate. I was told that someone would reach out to me within 3-5 days, it has been about two to three days so we shall see. This location needs new management and workers for sure.
