Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Elkton

This is probably the 5th time we have come here this year and I have not had a single good experience yet so this is my last time coming to this location. First the service here has been terrible all year not sure of the name but the small girl that has red hair repeated my order back to me 3 times and still ended up making it wrong as I watched her go to the chocolate side notice it was empty and then decided to just give me vanilla instead as I watched another worker go and see it was empty and go and refill the machine herself since I guess the other worker didn’t feel like doing it and just give customers what she felt like getting. I have issues with anxiety and anger so trying to ask her to remake it was out of the question cause I didn’t feel like dealing with her attitude since she obviously had more important things to do. If there was a line and busy I could understand but we were literally one of the 2 couples that were there and the other window had those people so no need to rush just laziness and not wanting to do her job. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere and recommend others...

We just moved to Elkton from the west coast. We've never been to Rita's before. Custard is normal ice cream and we didn't know that. The man working the far left window today was incredibly rude and made my family feel rushed. When I finally did get my order to him, he messed it up and insisted that there were no carriers for waffle bowls. I dropped one on the way to the car and didn't even bother going back to tell them because of how rude he was initially. We will be finding a nicer place to have a treat...

Who doesnt like water ice. This ritas is amazing. The staff are so sweet and had so much patience with a pregnant woman and 11 year old that had no clue what they wanted. They let us sample several different flavors and even reccomended ones that we hadnt tried. I quote "Wait, you guys havent had the bananna. Oh you have to try that one" we ended up getting the tray with 4 different flavors and a dollop of custard in the middle. Also gave a bit of custard for our lil dachshund....
