Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Ellisville

I came here ordered my food and they got my order wrong and overcharged for my meal which is supposed to come with a drink if you look at the lees website the 5 piece comes with a drink they charged me another 2.59 for a drink. The total didn’t seem right I had been eating here for a while so i asked the cashier whos name was Jerryonah she said that it doesn't come with a drink even though my other receipts show I was not charged for a drink and was rather rude about it. No big deal I call them up to try and make the situation right after i made sure to look up what came with the meal and found out my order was wrong. The first time I called I just explained the situation and was hung up on I wasn’t rude and spoke calmly so I thought that the call just dropped. I call again and speak to someone explain the situation they tell me theres no website which isn't true and then started just passing the phone around to other people I don’t know who I spoke with as they didn't give a name but after I was passed off again I just said you guys are being very rude right now so I’m just gonna leave a review. Today is June21 I visited THIS location at 10:40 am My food was brought to the counter and I sat down at a booth I first tasted the mashed potatoes and gravy ( ICE cold) . I then tried the green beans( ICE cold also) I took my plate back to the counter and told the person that both sides were ice cold. No “ sorry” was given - just made another plate. Upon receiving my new plate, the green beans were STILL ice cold. The mashed potatoes were runny and the gravy was so hot I couldn’t touch it. My chicken breast was served warm; however it did not taste fresh at all. I was looking forward to my sweet tea which was extremely “ off” tasting- almost like stainless steel. The counter girl( blond hair) told me “ Well we just opened at 10:30” So I thought to myself: Is that her reason for serving unacceptable food??? I am totally done with this location as their hygiene practices are pathetic. I was watching the girl who was wiping down counters with a rag take a customers order without even washing her hands. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never get food from this location again. The worker at the drive thru Star Jones was rude and uncouth! I simply asked can I have a cup of water with my meal, then I proceeded to ask If could have some dipping sauce with my meal. She tells me I need to get it together (not in a jokingly way). I wanted a refund because I simply refuse to spend my money at an establishment that does not value their customers, I tried to get her attention by honking my horn, she chose to ignore me, which held the line up. I was forced to come inside the restaurant to be refunded for my meal. The same worker from the Drive thru claimed to be a supervisor so, I spoke with another supervisor. This was an older white male he did not try to offer any compassion for the rude behavior I received. It's almost as if he thought it was funny. Any person with these poor customer service qualities should not be supervising anyone! This location ruined my entire lunch break! With so many businesses in this area, I will be putting the word out to not spend money at...
