I called and placed a order which was read back to me... The lady on the phone asked for my credit card but, I had to ask how much was my total. I get the price which seemed high, but allowed my hunger to proceed with the order. When my order arrives I tip of course and then proceed to unpack my food to only to discover my order was incomplete! I call back and was told I didn't ask for what I asked for and what was read back to me. I am so frustrated that I spent $50.00 on what China House wanted to give me instead of what I ordered. The part that really makes me angry is the professionalism of the lady on the phone! She was very rude! What was forgotten in my order was 2 orders of french fries .. she told me " I can charge you extra" " I can charge you extra" .. When she messed up my order! Now I have to wait another 30 min. for you to complete my order and pay extra for what I already ordered with my meal? I WILL NEVER PATRON THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN !!!!
UPDATE.. They also charged me for my soda! I told them that I was supposed to get a free soda but would take a additional soda .. They told me no sir because you didn't tell us you had the coupon! I told her I get a free soda and she said yea ... He then tried to charge me 3.50 for the french fries she forgot! I told them that if she truly forgot the fries the charge should be $2.00 because the wings cost $5.75 but was charged $6.05 and with fries your menu says it would be $7.05. He then said oh .. maybe old menu so I will take off .45 cents. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!! NEVER GO HERE!!!!
RESPONSE #2:
The issue that you are failing to understand as a business owner is YOU ARE FAILING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT BEING CONSISTENT AND NOT BEING CLEAR ON POLICY NOR PROTOCOL.
INSTEAD OF BEING DEFENSIVE AS I SEE, YOU HAVE A BAD HABIT OF DOING BASED ON OTHER RESPONSES YOU HAVE MADE TO PAST DISSATISFIED COSTUMERS... TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS!
Now, where on your menu does it say I had to give you the coupon? I took a picture and posted your current menu, and nowhere does it state that I had to present the voucher, but as I told you on the phone you can take it when you came to my house with the soda owed to me... I asked the rude lady if I got the free soda she said yes. I didn't notice I didn't get the free soda until after I looked at my receipt and saw I was charged $3.00 for the soda. THAT SHOULD BE COMPLIMENTARY with my overpriced order. When I called back, instead of asking for a refund, I said you could bring another soda with the two orders of French Fries you tried to overcharge me for.. then I said, "Well, you must have an old menu".. So do me a favor .. post for everyone here the "NEW" menu with the prices you tried to charge me for my meal and the fries I didn't get. Also, show me where it says that I have to give you a coupon.. all it said was if my purchase exceeded 35.00, the...
Read moreThe lady at the front was extremely unprofessional and nasty. I placed an order that totaled about 38. one of the items was the Singapore noodles. The menu doesn’t specify that Singapore noodles are made with pork and chicken. Once my food is ready, I proceed to check it for accuracy at which time I noticed the meat in my noodles. I very kindly made the lady at the window aware that I’d like my food remade without the meat. She appeared frustrated and raised her voice at me and explained that I need to tell her in advance next time. I asked how I couldve known there was meat in the food if it wasn’t noted on the menu. She continued to argue for about 5 minutes. She then pours the food into a pan and proceeds to pick the shrimp out of the food in an attempt to place the old shrimp in the new order of noodles. (SN: noodles have to be the least expensive item there). I ask her to remake my entire order including the shrimp and she does. Once complete, she starts again about letting them know in advance.
*Update: in response to your reply, pork in any dish should be noted on the menu and it’s not an ingredient listed in the Singapore noodles. Second, whether it’s a common ingredient or not, I don’t believe consumers should be subjected to a terrible attitude because they bring to your attention that they have an allergy to pork. Lastly, it’s in poor taste to pick the shrimp out of the old order to place in the new order. That’s disgusting as was your attitude. People deserve to know who they are spending their hard earned money with. Afterall, there were no hand outs given. I paid for my food! You are not doing me any favors by...
Read moreVery Mediocre . Food seemed under seasoned , and even when noted spicy , it wasnt even close to spicy. We tried steamed dumpling , Schrimp Lo-mein, Peppered Chicken , Sweet and Sour chicken , Won ton soup. I tried everything we got . The dough wrapping the wontons for the soup and the dumplings was super thick and rubbery , the internal meat was about the size of a medium marble. Peppered chicken was minus any heat from peppers . My daughters sweet and sour chicken was the flavor of a bland zeppoli . Schrimp Lo-mein , Was NOT fishy , but lacking any flavor .Sorry about the over use of "bland " but that's the only way to describe it. They graciously gave us fried wontons for free . Thats what they were worth. Personally 37 dollars and very unsatisfied. Sorry chef but you gotta step it up. No hard feelings but we wont be back. Sad part is I know a great place about another 5 miles away. No names will...
