Tokyo Express — Restaurant in Elmwood Park

Absolutely one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with Beef Teriyaki for delivery, and so did my wife. The first thing is it arrived plain with the Teriyaki sauce on the side for both orders. So it was just plain chicken and just plain beef. The beef tasted absolutely terrible. The chicken was average, But it was plain with no sauce on it. I ordered chicken teriyaki, You know the kind cooked in the teriyaki sauce, not teriyaki sauce on the side. The plain white rice was decent. The fried rice tasted terrible, like it was weeks old. I’ve never had rice this bad in my life. The portion was large, However that doesn’t matter with terrible food. I have never ate from this place, but i did want to try it tonight for dinner since i have been craving sushi! im extremely sick, and at the moment had no car, i wanted my food delivered and i saw their was a 15 minium. i called and i told the lady who picked up the phone if their was any chance she was able to deliver for 10 dollars since i was the only one eating, and i didn't want to order so much for only one person, i explained that to lady on the floor that with my tip it would come out to 15 as the required minimum. She quickly said no and hung up the phone. I don't think ill ever call that restaurant again or bother trying their food, at least with not how that lady handled my situation. MIND YOU I LIVE IN...

I must say I appreciate Tokyo Express and the Manager. I had a bad experience through a Major Food Delivery Service. I ordered through the Major Food Delivery Service for delivery and two hours later still no delivery. I called Tokyo Express and spoke to the Manager who advised the Major Food Delivery Service driver was not available due to car issues. Unfortunately, I was never advised by that Company. Hearing my frustration, Tokyo Express offered to deliver the food themselves since I was waiting so long. I must say I appreciated how the Manager treated me and how quickly he delivered my food.
