Basil's Lounge — Restaurant in Elyria

It’s been over 10yrs since I been here. I had codi coming back in. We are a pretty simple and easy couple so we got our app, followed by our wings. She was amazing….. a couple weeks from our first visit we walk in she knows our drinks and knows our order, to the point she knows when I’m looking at the menu she asks am I getting my cheese balls or switching up. To be honest I ONLY come when Codi and Jimmy are working bc the food and professionalism is what I like to see….. props to the owners for hiring 2 amazing people.YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED...

I had been curious about Basil's since I had seen it reopened, so I went to try the Monday taco special. The crunchy tacos have a good texture and decent flavour, although you'll want to order a couple extra as they are on the smaller side. It's also important to note that specials are dine-in only.

The place itself has a cozy atmosphere, a good amount of seating, and wasn't loud like similar places...

If you don't mind eating in the hood this place is for you. I highly recommend that if you want a bite and a drink there are a lot safer options in elyria than downtown. Find a place on the north side of town or over by walmart in elyria. That said, their food is good if you don't mind eating with plastic ware.
