Sambino's Pizza — Restaurant in Elyria

Online order went bad from the start, the food was not cooked correctly, ribs were over done. Then the delivery driver said credit card did not go thru so I paid cash on the spot. After checking my credit statement the card was charged. As an Amputee from war injuries sustained in Afghanistan I tried to resolve over the phone, unable I put my leg an arm on and drive to Sambino's Pizza and the owner apparently was not in and the manager said file a dispute with credit card after I had explained I talked with the credit card company the said the easiest fix is to have them credit the amount back. Mgr did not pull up the correct day of the transactions and hence since its not life or death I just left . $20 bucks is not that big a deal however I did file the dispute now we can waste more money tracking down the obvious and I can wait an additional 10 more days minimum as that is how long the dispute investigation takes. Truly not how I expected a wounded veteran to be treated on memorial day. But hey ok Sambino's was not that good wont get my business ever again. I ask Veterans do...

Today at 9pm I placed an Order I was told my order would be there in about 30-45 minutes. An hour later my food Never arrives I call and ask when would the food come ..? someone very rude and snippy gets on the phone with nothing but attitude acting as if they didn’t even know I ordered once confirmed they kept saying it should be there shortly talking over my questions very unprofessional and rude for absolutely no reason .I hung up and another hour passes ...... STILLLL NOTHING . I call they say they came but they never did this pizza place is a joke foreal my front door was wide open me sitting in my living room then the nerve to say you called me but it was another lie it was just a nightmare then I call again and they say that you won’t bring me the food . It's hard to believe anyone could give this establishment less than 5 stars. I order almost weekly. I've tried the other non-chain pizzerias in town, and while there are a number of solid choices, I feel Sambino's is the best. Quality ingredients, the best soft, but chewy dough. I'm picky about sauces, too. It always, always, always gets to me consistently hot and fresh. Courteous drivers, always. It says a lot about a business when they can maintain quality and consistency in a challenging market where it's hard to keep good, people and raw ingredient costs are going up. They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. It holds up to re-heating. It never turns to cardboard like a lot of chain pizza places do. I've decided I'm never ordering from anywhere else.
