Hidden Spot Emeryville — Restaurant in Emeryville

My wife and I visited this spot yesterday to enjoy their Happy Hour. The place is small, but perfect. They have outside seating as well. We sat at the bar. We were immediately greeted warmly.

We ordered the Summer drink and the Peach one (Both found on the menu). We ordered the Original burger with fried egg and avocado. It was delicious. The burger was big, flavorful and everything was cooked how I needed it to be (We shared the burger and small fries. It was enough for 2). We ordered more drinks: Chocolate martini (Not on the menu, but ask for it...so delicious), we had tequila shots and my wife had a Mezcal drink prepared by the bartender (Not on the menu, but it was tasty).

The bartender was funny, accomodating and amazing. So amazing that I did not even know he was the owner!! Lol.. his name is Mike. He such a cool down to earth dude. Like very personable.

The music is so loud the waitress didn't remember what I ordered. She never checked on us. The music is really disgusting as well, so many curse words it feels like they are trying to run you out of the restaurant.

Response to the owner, we dined yesterday from out of town. The music was at an acceptable level when we sat down, then it was turned off. About 5 minutes later it came back on with some of the most explicit lyrics about womens genitalia and a lot of the n word and other really horrid things that no one wants to hear. Our waitress was inattentive, the bartender was eating behind the bar. I am extremely unhappy with the service. My partner did get his meal, he was happy with the food but hated the experience. I came here with my niece and boy am I glad. I could not find it at first since the outside of the building says hometown heros.

After looking over the menu I ended up ordering the sheriff 15.00. Does n9t come with fries they are separate...but with a yelp check in..had some free small fries and they were absolutely delicious.

The burger comes with cheddar cheese...yummy onion rings...grilled onions..BBQ sauce...and may. I did get extra ranch...mmm

The burger was wonderful. It was juicy and delicious 😋 the fries were perfect. I really enjoyed the seasoning on them.
