This is the third time I have visited this location and left empty handed (this NEVER used to happen, so something is going on). The service is friendly enough, and I understand that the shoplifting craze has required them to tighten up the security. But I've never actually seen any of that sort of behavior, there (like one often witnesses in the shops downtown; Walgreens, Ross, even Target have become scenes of increasingly brazen thievery, and when confronted the crooks often respond with a self-righteous arrogance that is as confounding as it is unnerving). I have personally witnessed more physical altercations between thieves and store security than I can count. But as I said, I have never witnessed anything close to this sort of thing here, so it's a bit more frustrating when one is accosted on the way into the dressing room and all but patted down, relieved of the few non-clothing items I was carrying (nothing of any great value - a cheap little MK crossbody and a pair of very reasonably priced Prada shades that yes, I probably would have walked in with just as a matter of convenience). They both had security tags and I wasn't carrying anything large enough to conceal the purse in, but apparently they overestimated my cunning because, when I came out, I was told that the items would be held at the register (instead of the cubby where she had intimated they'd be). I'm not being overly sensitive, I'm just irritated because I ended up forgetting about them (out if sight, out of mind) and when I called the next morning the person I spoke with was about as unhelpful as possible. It's not even the first inconvenience I have experienced at this location; I purchased a shower curtain a few months ago and when I got home the security tag was still on. But the real kicker is that when I brought it back, they COULDN'T EVEN GET THE THING OFF! They refunded my money, of course, but after this last annoyance I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth. It's too bad; they used to be one of my favorite places to shop. That's just too much wasted time, tho, especially this close...
Read moreI was shopping and me being a black man was eventually being harassed by security not to mention this is my first time at this store I was the only person who's clothes got counted before I went to try them on multiple times. I thought I was tripping but I wasn't as I stood back and watched everyone els just get asked not physically touched to count but minds. I was also a Lil thirsty while shopping so as put my clothes down to purchase a soda they where viciously taken and as I searched and asked all the store workers and sequirity that's so called sequiring the store they told me and acted as if i never had clothes and didn't know what I was talking about but it was obvious they took them while I was getting a soda. I couldn't find none of the stuff I originally had and began to get really frustrated and gave up and left and was also followed outside about a quarter mile all the way down near home depot by a lady that does sequirity there I didn't steal or pose a threat to them but they still could of made this situation very bad like what if I was a crazy person and took my frustrations out on the lady the followed me clearly not near and away from the store, for singleing me out for no reason and giving me a hard time the worst time you couldn't imagine how upset and how the rest of my day was ruined I was fuming and noticed I was beginning to take it out on my girlfriend so I bought her some flowers and apologized and told her about my first time experience at Nordstrom rack. So to conclude you got to watch out for the sequirity and store workers because they are the real thiefs they will steal your clothes from you the second you set them down and then will not help you locate them if you ask which is...
