I’m a Oakland native Born and raise but have moved to Arizona . Met up with my best friend for dinner and decided to go for some drinks . He suggested The Banks bar . It was a Tuesday night and it was Karaoke night . The bar is not big and it was a little crowded but not too bad . Found a spot at the end of the bar . The bartenders were all so nice and met the owner as well . She was great . The drinks are very good and the atmosphere is great ! This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. The Banks Club in Emeryville is the spot! Soul, funk tunes fill the air all day, and the DJ sets on weekends are just dope. Karaoke nights? Always a blast. They pour generously too. I've had countless great times here. It's like the Cheers of Emeryville - you're gonna love it....
