If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would. The quality, service and management of this location has hit an all-time low.
Employees performing food prep and serving food at the drive-through window were not wearing masks or gloves. We are in the midst of a pandemic. I've worked in kitchens. It gets hot. I get it. But the health and safety of the customers, during a pandemic, must come first. A sign on the window says that all customers must wear masks. Why would the employees preparing food be exempt?
Our order was missing a food item and we were forced to go back through a second time. Staff inside the restaurant appeared disorganized and unprofessional. Communication was very poor. Drive-thru window was left open for a very long period of time and no one was visible inside the restaurant.
We observed the drive through attendant handling food items without a mask or gloves at any time. Two workers were having a conversation over top of our food order--they were trying to figure out how they missed one of the three meal items in our order.
At the same time, another worker was observed retrieving cigarettes from behind the counter. How can that be a priority when the drive-thru was so busy?
The Quarter Pounder burger we received was not fully cooked. The patty was still very pink and cold on the inside. My 12 year old son spit it out after one bite. We used to visit this location occasionally. We won't be going back. Considering a call to the local health department.
Strongly suggest a random employee drug test, and some basic food safety training and protocols for preventing the spread of COVID. Corporate should revoke their franchise license.

I arrived at McDonalds on Chestnut Street in Emmaus after a long night of Dashing, this was my last delivery of the night and it was worth a lot of money. As a college student who was never really handed anything on a silver platter, making money, or "chasing the bag" is something I take seriously when it comes to my future debts and financial responsibilities.
I received the online McDonald's order at 10:20pm I pulled up to the drive thru speaker at 10:25pm I requested my delivery and the employee told me she couldn't give me the order, as they had not made it. Her excuse was that the order was placed to closely to the 10:30pm closing time of the fast food restaurant. I asked if I could walk up to the pickup window and collect it there, however she told me that her manager stated the customer's order would not be made.
I can understand not being able to make an order close to the store's closing time, especially when it comes to payroll issues when closing up a store, but this order was placed at at least 10:20, and I've seen videos of McDonald's orders being made and I'll tell you it takes about 30 seconds to assemble a burger. Read moreThis was my first time there since the remodel & probably my last. It was 8 on a Friday. I went inside with a friend before a concert thinking it'd be faster than the line at the drive thru. It was pretty dead inside, probably because it was trick or treat night in town. Between the 2 of us we ordered a $1 cheeseburger, a $2 mcdouble, a small fry, a small soda, & a sweet tea. Like $6 total. We thought we would order quick simple items & put them in 1 order to move things along. It took 27 minutes to get our order! There were only 3 orders ahead of ours inside & plenty of workers behind the counter to keep things moving. Finally an older woman I assume was the manager based on her shirt came up from the kitchen & asked what we were waiting for. Everyone in the kitchen immediately started pointing fingers at each other & arguing, but still not making the food. After another 2 minutes the manager says "ok get it done" & within 1 minute we had our order. The manager apologized & acknowledged exactly how long we were there which is how I know.
