Planet Sub — Restaurant in Emporia

Driving through we decided to try this place after seeing good reviews. Walked in no one was there and the employees were just on their phones in the back and we stood there for a minute until my husband had to say excuse me. Most of the tables were dirty, soups bowls sitting on the trash can with old soup in them. The sandwich I got was lacking flavor , I had to take out the tomato’s because they were not rip so they were bitter and hard. I had to ask for horseradish just to bring flavor to it. I like the fact they toast them and have a large variety, I just picked one that was plain turkey. The employees continued to just sit in the back one their phone not hearing when customers...

We decided on this place as a cop-out do to all of thenother places we were interested in didn't work out.. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised!! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly!! The food was brought out to our table in a more than reasonable amount of time.

I got the Planet Sub and my girlfriend got dogwood's sub! Absolutely amazing!!!

I always try new restaurants when in a new place. Customers at 4 tables when I came in. It took 15 minutes to get my sub, I didn't mind. Told the cashier that I had never been there before and was never told anything about the playing card for my order. Bread was good and fresh, sub was meh. Seems like an overrated place, no need to go back for a second chance. We can find better food for $27. Ate...
