If I could leave zero stars, I would. Honestly thought they were closed when we pulled up cause there was no one in the parking lot and lights looked like they were off inside. Walked in, only customers there. To which I thought, “this is nice cause we won’t have to wait long on the food and we know it’ll be made fresh” but boy was I wrong…
Everything was okay til the food came out. On top of our order being wrong, the bacon was like it had been dehydrated, and the sausage was cold. When this was brought to the servers attention, there was no “let me make this better for y’all” or anything. I was told “I’ll let the cook know.” If it wasn’t for having young children with me that were hungry and needed to eat, we would’ve left. So they ate the food that was wrong but edible, and left the inedible parts for the trash.
Partially through the kids eating, he brought a plate over asking if we were missing any food, I said no, and they just assumed they made an extra. Looking back I should’ve told em that we’d take that instead of what we got cause it actually looked freshly made and edible. Other than that, though, we were ignored after I mentioned the complaint about food. Never got any refills on drinks. Nothing. And it definitely wasn’t cause they were busy. There were 3 tables (less than 10 total people in there, including my family) and 2 servers.
Then we waited almost 10 minutes at the counter just to pay. When our server finally got up there and he told me my total, I asked “so I’m expected to pay full price for a meal that was partially inedible and the other part was wrong?” To which I got the response “wowzers! I don’t make the food!”
I explained to him that I understand completely that you cannot control how the food comes out. But I couldn’t imagine not trying to make it right in some sorta way by offering fresh food or to correct the order. But there was nothing. And I was told “yeah we’re not the best.”
Like I said, if it wasn’t for having young kids with me that were hungry and needed to eat then we would’ve left.
No wonder no one was there when we got there.
**UPDATE (10/31/2025): It has been 2 weeks since the incident. Filled out the "info" through the link like the comment suggested (technically I filled out 2 - one right after this happened and the second through the link the comment posted), and I was told someone would reach out to me. Read moreMy family of 5 and a baby came in on our way out of town and what we experienced was horrible service and lame food.The server asked if we were ready to order. We said yes. She said "okay I'm not ready yet, I was just checking if you were ready." Then she went to go get a tablet to take our order. I asked her for a french fries substitute she went to ask the chef, no problem. She came back with a paper notebook. Stating she could. This is significant because I ordered the sirloin tips and eggs that come with pancakes and she refused to give me the pancakes because she said i substituted french fries for pancakes and that wasnt true. She only brought the pancakes because my mom said we would pay for them. We kept having to ask for water,staws,and correct food order. The girl that served us felt like she was brand new which is fine completely. My mom was a server back in her day and she understands the pressure of being a good server. So that is the reason we just kept it moving, we didn't speak to the manager, and I wouldn't have written a review either. UNTIL my sister,mom, and I went to go change one of the babies in the bathroom leaving my brother in law with the other baby. We come back and start heading outside after paying. My brother in law lets me know that while in the bathroom the server and manager started talking sh*t about how we didn't tip what they thought we should have. That really upset me. Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. This place used to be really great to eat at. But over the course of the last six months we have endured poor service and poor food. I work at a diner, so when you tell me you have one cook well so do we. When you tell me that will make me wait 2 hours for my food I'm dumbfounded because our cook has your food out at the worst in 30 minutes. We have 2 waitresses on staff at any given moment and you don't wait more than a few seconds to 5 minutes for a drink. We have waited 10 minutes or longer at this establishment for a waitress when there was nobody even there eating. What dumb founds me is when you have 4 tables max and it takes 2 hours to get your food. AND I'm not over exaggerating. I got over charged the last time we went. And the manager did fix it but the waitress argued over and over I ordered American cheese instead of pepper jack on my omelet. Well I would let you charge me for the American cheese if you actually had done what I asked but I got pepper jack. To top it off I am allergic to the fruit that comes with the meal and they always let me substitute anything that's the same price, but this time they tried to charge me 2.99 for my side . I get if it was like a .65 up charge but your not charging me 7.99 for the meal then an extra 2.99 for the side when I didn't even get the fruit. Catch my drift?
