Pro: Room was clean, bed was comfortable, room size was good, close to highway, Walmart and food options close, breakfast was good Con: there are 58 rooms and only 50 parking spaces. There must be some out of town workers staying here because every single vehicle in the parking lot was a huge truck. The parking spaces are TINY. There really should be only 40-42 parking spaces in this lot. I had to climb out the back slide doors on my van so that I wouldn't hit the vehicle next to me. The pool was freezing, you couldn't even put your feet in it.

This hotel blew my expectations out of the water. The reviews were just OK, but the lobby, hallways and my room are immaculate. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the room tech is all new (nice size TV loaded with channels, and there are outlets and USB charging ports everywhere. It's pet friendly to boot. I'm not a hotel pool or breakfast person so really can't speak to either of those.

My family and I were in need of a room since we were traveling though Kansas. Decent room with two queen beds and sofa bed. Equipped with coffee maker, desk, hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge and TV. The bathroom was small and compact. Includes free breakfast and WI-FI. Breakfast is pretty basic. Laundry is available on site, although it's spendy. Employees are not very friendly.

A friend and I stayed here for one night to attend a men's Bible conference in Emporia. The hotel itself was nice. Public areas and our room were clean and well attended. People working the front desk were very polite and attentive.

My only "complaint" is that after going home, I discovered I had left a very nice jacket in the room. I admit I should have been more attentive. However, when I called the hotel (the same evening of the day I had checked out), I was told my jacket was not in the Lost and Found, but possibly had been placed in the Manager's Office for safe keeping. The male employee I spoke with informed me the manager would be in the next day (Sunday). In the meantime, he went up to the room where I had stayed to look for my jacket. He didn't find it.

I called Sunday and was told my jacket had not been turned in to Lost and Found and because the Manager wasn't in, the office was inaccessible to the employees. The person identified himself as the same one I had spoken to on the previous day.

I called the hotel again on Monday and spoke with a different person than the day before. She offered to look in Lost and Found. She did and didn't find my jacket. I asked her about the Manager's Office and she informed the that the Manager was out of the country and hadn't been in for several days. (Why had I been told differently the day before?) She said she would look around the hotel and call me back.

After waiting four approximately three to four hours, I called again and got the same female employee I had spoken to earlier. She informed me the jacket was not there.

I'm aggravated with myself for not being more attentive, but I can only come to two conclusions re: my jacket:

  1. The cleaning staff wasn't very diligent in cleaning the room (or they would have seen the jacket and turned it in). Consequently, the jacket was left in the room...and taken by the next guest.

---OR---

  1. The cleaning staff found the jacket and kept it.

I really hope the cleaning staff just missed it and the next guests decided they were entitled to something that...

This place was pretty terrible. We stopped in it was almost 2am and we were exhausted the staff seemed nice at first, but once we got to our room we noticed the tub was absolutely disgusting. It was so dirty I would guess it had not been clean in months the entire floor of the tub was brown. I called the from desk he said he wanted to see it, but would find us a different room. A few minutes later he knocks on the door takes a look and says he is sorry and that the room next door is empty, but he wants to check it first. When he come back to the room he asks if I want to look at it and see if it is clean enough. I take a look and it is even more dirty then the room I am in. He tried to tell me it was just the way the tub look. So I grabbed a wash cloth wet it and wiped the bottom of the tub. The wash cloth was grey after just one wipe with just water so I told him no and showed it to him. The tubs are not discolored they are not being cleaned. That was the last room they had so we stayed any way and just made sure to sleep on top of the blankets and skip the shower. I was told I was going to get a discount for the inconvenience. I never got the discount, but I guess I did not figure I would if they are to lazy to even clean a room properly. Don't stay here unless you don't mind skipping a shower or worry about sharing sheets with a stranger. I am not sure that the sheets were dirty but when I looked they were very wrinkled and with the tub not being cleaned I would not...

Traveling from Wisconsin to New Mexico and arrived at this location after driving 12 hours.

The night staff needs a raise for real!!!

I had gotten gas about an hour prior to arriving but used my Credit Union debit card as a credit card at the pump. I hadn't notified by Credit Union of my travels (I'm new to CU's) and so they blocked my card.

It's late at night, I'm like 4 hours past my late arrival check in time and my card declines 😳😒. I was so road weary and exhausted.

He handled it so professionally and smiled the whole time telling me not to worry. I gave him a regular credit card I didn't want to use and he explained it's just an authorization. Once I straightened out my debit card we could put it back on there.

The room was clean, cool and we had a strong wifi signal. The beds were comfortable and we got much needed rest.

The continental breakfast was good, sausage and eggs were the perfect protein I was looking for as I headed out for another day of driving.

Checking out was a breeze, FYI my debit card was fine by morning after a short conversation with my Credit Union 😁.

I like Comfort Inn & Suites and will look for them when traveling. The prices are good and the accommodations fit us perfectly.

I'm so sad...I forgot to take pictures 🤷‍♀️ I always...
