Since this hotel is only just about a year old, the facilities are extremely clean. Theres a somewhat small pool, unfortunately missing a sauna or hot tub, a fitness room, (again) unfortunately without a massage chair or hydro massage bed. The business center has two computers and a printer. As for the rooms, if you get a single king bed, the bathroom is quite nice and likely to have a walk-in shower with a ton of room and a shower head with multiple settings. Rooms with two beds are likely to have a somewhat small tub.

The breakfast served in the mornings is great. Sausage, eggs, bagels, some pastries, cereal, yogurt and Greek yogurt, etc... The star of the show for me was the make-your-own waffle station. The better provided turns out a fantastic waffle. The syrup selection was very small, but there was some decent topping choices. They also provide real butter.

The lounge is also quite large, but manages to feel cozy. There's also a 24/7 coffee/tea station. The communal TV is somewhat small, but I liked the set up. All it was missing was some sort of fireplace to complete the feel of the room.

A guest laundry room is available, and there is also a small store with some necessities and snacks next to the front desk.

I loved the touch card lock system. It's a lot more convenient than a traditional card system that many hotels still use.

Overall a great stay. I would...

We had a wonderful stay here! We called ahead and let them know that we would be arriving very late (arrived around 1145 pm). They reassured me no worries! They had us in room right by the front desk so it was perfect. It was very clean! It smelled clean even all throughout. The pool was clean while I didn’t take advantage of that perk this time. I am providing a photo for y’all. It’s got a super great location! Close to the interstate and a TON of food options close. Starbucks is walkable as well as Applebees and IHOP and Pizza Ranch. But across the street is Brauhms and McDonald’s and Burger King. Also we saw a Walmart very close too. I would highly recommend this location. It was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was actually really good as well! They had vanilla crème and red velvet waffles to cook with a full bar of toppings like whipped crème and caramel sauce and key lime sauce so yummy! Also coffee and juice of course. Yogurts, eggs, bacon, muffins etc..I didn’t take many photos because we stayed just one night but here are a few for you to see the closeness of the restaurants and the pool. Also it’s very pet friendly with multiple pet poop stations with bags stationed all around. We really appreciated this location and I...

This hotel was well worth the stop on the last night of our road trip. We paid a bit less than some- around 152 with taxes, possibly because it was a Sunday night. The hotel is clean, bright, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lady working in the breakfast room was very nice. The food was simple but better than most of the hotels we stayed at on our trip. We enjoyed the clean pool and exercise room. The bed was very comfortable for us- firm enough- and the room was exceptionally quiet. There are restaurants nearby to walk to, and even a Walmart if needed. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway. The only issues we had were that the first room we were given had a TV that wasn't receiving a signal so we ended up switching to a room a few doors down (I felt bad for the front desk staff member; there was nothing she could do to fix it.) and the ice machine on our floor was out of order. The pool room needs a clock. Overall, this is an excellent hotel with very helpful staff and it was great to stay in a nice place our last night on the road! Would definitely stay here again if...

We had hoped to make it to Wichita before stopping for the night but ended up deciding to stop in Emporia. I have to admit, I did not have high hopes for hotels in an off-interstate town but the reviews gave us hope and it was only for 1 night. I'm so impressed by the cleanliness and service at this location. I have been hesitant to stay at Hampton Inns in the past few years because the quality has been hit or miss but huge kudos to the management of this location. The breakfast bar alone is enough to get a recommendation-tons of options, freshly made, clean area, attentive and SUPER friendly staff. We felt right at home here and very welcomed. We had our dog with us and appreciated the dog walk area right out front with bags for clean up. Very nice stay overall, relatively quiet location too, which is surprising given all the nearby businesses and roads. Well done, Emporia Hampton Inn staff!
