Posted a Yelp review about this restaurant. It does not appear on the Yelp site. Funny that Yelp states on their site: "Your trust is our top concern, so businesses can't pay to alter or remove their reviews." Wonder why ALL the bad reviews for this business are in the"not currently recommended" section. My review does not appear there - anywhere... Encapsulate this for you: went in for breakfast. Ordered eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and sourdough toast. Orange juice arrived first - it was the warmest thing they served. Plate arrived 5 minutes later - eggs not fully cooked - ice cold, runny - disgusting. Bacon - ice cold, rubbery texture - not edible. Potatoes - ice cold - tasted like they were from yesterday or earlier. Toast - ice cold and very dry. Not sure what the good reviewers from Yelp etc. ate there - maybe if you have a salad and veggie juice - it's good. I paid over $30 for one of the worst meals I've ever been served, as well as my other half's meal which was not finished either. A squirrely bus boy with too many tattoos and piercings came by to bus our plates - and made a remark in an irritating tone "hope you liked it." Years ago I would have slammed his face into the plate and forced him eat some of the food I could not finish - but I am more sedate these days. How can you screw up bacon, eggs and toast? Really?!?!? Left $0.00 tip. Should have requested a refund from the manager. Wouldn't feed that meal...

Lotus Cafe is warm, welcoming, friendly, uplifting, kind, giving you a ‘feels like family’ vibe with their down to earth, genuine presence, recalling your name & order if you frequent often, from the moment you walk in, during your meal, to the time you leave. This is from the super kind, knowledgeable, upbeat staff, to the kind hearted, accommodating, friendly, helpful new management, as well as the awesome guests that come in. The quality, taste, pricing, of the meals are far beyond excellent with plenty of options to choose from! You receive your meals in such a timely manner, no matter how many other guests there are. They have good intentions, and you can feel that in the entire space, and from your food. I absolutely love that they are animal friendly, kid friendly, family friendly. The parking is excellent, there is easy, and plenty of parking even on their busiest days. The restrooms are always clean, well kept, and stocked. I have been going to Lotus for years, and the rapport has stayed consistent, and even continues to blossom greater. I support Lotus Cafe, and extend an invitation to you to experience how lovely it is.
