Four Boys Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Englishtown

Their icecream is amazing. Creamy, rich, and a big selection.

However - it would be helpful to have flavors posted online, so it is easier on who we send to pick them up.

But, they are so inconsistent with "filling them up". I get it, they're young kids working there who aren't thinking. But having to say "come on do you really think this looks filled" is becoming exhausting.

Today, I sent my father out there to get the kids icecream. He even said something about the "shorted one". and the kid working there said "it was the right amount of scoops".

I should tell her to come here and explain why the 8 year old's icecream is significantly less than the other two.

Their icecream is fantastic, but the way this location is ran, makes it unbearable. Again, we sent out one family member to get icecream, who sends us a picture of the sign. It's NEVER right, which is frustrating to the Sugar Free and Vegan eaters we have. I get it, flavors change, I worked at an icecream shop when I was younger, but it's ALWAYS wrong. Sometimes the same item is wrong for days. Also, the containers look empty. Even on the same order, it looks inconsistent. If theyre not going to fill up the container, they shouldnt have a dome top. Presentation is especially important. For what we are paying, the container shouldnt look empty. (Which we hardly go anymore because of their inconsistent portions and poorly run location... nobody wants to be the one to go to do the pickup), which is sad since we love...

Very disappointed. Long time customer. My wife and I had 2 soft vanilla cones. We noticed many little pieces of yellow hard things in our ice cream and the taste of the ice cream was terrible. It looked to be old ice cream from a dirty machine. I brought it up to the counter and the young girl did not know what it was. She offered to give me another ice cream cone but being as there is only one machine it would probably be the same issue. No manager there just two young girls. I should have been offered a refund when she saw me toss the two ice cream cones in the garbage. But I was not. Somebody dropped the ball on that...

I have been going to Four Boys ever since it changed from Jack Frost. The double fudge brownie is my favorite flavor. Great quality ice cream. For $4, I get a small cup, but they give you a pretty big serving. They offer hard and soft ice cream, shakes, sundaes, barges, Italian ices, and more. On busy summer nights, the line can snake from the window to the street and then some. There is some outdoor seating (one table is too close to the dumpster though). Parking is limited and a little difficult to maneuver because the store is right by the street. The store is manned by high schoolers. Service is typically...
