Jade Garden ENID — Restaurant in Enid

Let me start by saying I was hesitant to post this review- but I’m going to because I used to be a waitress here years ago. I used to LOVE the food here. The prices are still good. However, my waitress got my sake order wrong, that was fine- I drank it anyway. Honest mistake. Second, she got my soft shell crab appetizer wrong (brought out the spider roll). That was fine, I still had her bring out the appetizer I ordered. I know they are hesitant to take anything “wrong” off the check so I didn’t even bother asking. I didn’t mind paying. But the kicker is- the soft shell crab appetizer was so salty I had to discard it. Could not swallow one bite. The fried shrimp was also burnt. My partner was hesitant to go to jade garden and I convinced him (I told him I used to work there so I know what’s best of the menu) and it was all just really disappointing. Tried this place for the very first time a few days ago and can’t say I had the best experience. Had so many church friends recommend this place but during my date with my fiancé, we felt so… unwelcomed? We were at the restaurant for about an hour. While their interior is very pretty, I can’t say the same about the service. During our entire time here, we had to constantly ask for drink refills.
