Las Margaritas Grill & Cantina — Restaurant in Enid

The food was the best part. Which should certainly be important. However our server was not good at all. The food portions were generous and even though I paid 20 bucks for one meal. Our server was slow, he got confused several times and seemed to have a hard time speaking English. Like I tried to explain how I could not have dairy. Also we had to ask for refills on chips and salsa and he seemed irritated. He also kept going behind the bar and was very inattentive. When we were ready we waited for almost ten minutes before I decided to ask another worker for to go boxes. And then it was another 6 minutes on top of that before we saw our server and asked for the receipt. Overall, the food was so good I will come back for sure. But, I do have to say that maybe they should simplify their menu. As a first timer all the options were a bit overwhelming. Also the chips were not very good, but the salsa was great.

I hate to post any negative on here. Because the food was Soooo good. And when people would bring out steaming hot plates of steak and other food. They all looked so good. I will be back, but hopefully with an edit for next time.

Update: the server has poured water all over my shoulder. Another server like never came to our table and I had to signal him multiple times. Food is still...

Waited 20 mins to get drinks and over 30 for the server to take our order.Took over an hour to get our food while waiting for it we asked a server how much longer on the food was told she doesn’t work in the kitchen and doesn’t know we asked if she could just check just because of how long we had been there already she then just walked off. When food was brought out was brought the wrong thing. Asked the sever for sour cream and took awhile to get that and had to ask a second time for it. Had to ask for refills on our drinks and silverware. Watched 2 tables get up and walk out because no one ever went over and got drinks. Other tables were having to ask for checks and to-go box’s and had to ask multiple people before someone brought them. When we went to pay there was a customer asking to talk to a manger the lady up front told her they aren’t there to please everyone. They were not busy either when we went not worth...

We tried (and literally drove an hour to eat at this restaurant) this restaurant because i had some customers come into my store and rave how amazing Las Margaritas was. First off, The restaurant is beautiful and the service was probably the best and most attentive ive had, but unfortunately without food to match we won't be returning. The quality is extremely poor. Tasted like canned chicken, sauces are thin and runny, beans taste off and their salsa tasted like canned tomato sauce with no spices. I got the special platter so I could try several items, an enchilada, tamale, relleno, taco and chalupa. I ate the relleno to get full and tasted everything else (we did not take anything with us).
