I have to say upfront that I have a shellfish allergy, hate fish and am not fond of this kind of food. But I take care of my elderly father and he LOVES this place! So..I take him here 2-3 times per month.
I have found individual things I like, so I think that I get my money's worth! I love the green beans, butter potatoes and one of the rice dishes. I have tried some of the various chicken available, don't care for it, but if I had to eat one, I would go with the pepper chicken. I can't tell if the chicken is white or dark in any of the chicken dishes. Now, I can fill up on the salad and fruit bar! There are puddings available too. The banana pudding was really good, but I am not a big fan of sweets either, so I have only gotten it twice. The bananas with a fruit sauce on them are DELICIOUS! There's a tomato-cucumber salad that's really good, just a little too sweet. Grapes, oranges and watermelon slices are always good.
Don't judge by my tastes, this just isn't a style of cuisine that I like. My dad loves the shrimp, fried fish, broccoli dishes, breads...everything. The place is always busy, and watching other diners, it's clear that if this is a food genre you like, you'll love this place!
I look at what seems like a mile of food choices and think of how doggone much prep work there must be! I like going here for the food items that I like. We have only done the buffet. It's $7.99 for lunch (until 3, I think), then $9.99 after that. It's well worth the price! There's a sushi bar and an area where people select items and the chefs cook it for them right there. No idea what it's called...as this isn't my kind of food. But people seem to enjoy it. As for sushi...I have yet to be hungry enough to think raw fish sounded like a good idea! I don't even like cooked fish!
Just go. If I enjoy it enough to keep going back for veggies and fruits, you guys will love the huge offering of dishes there! In fact, those green beans and butter potatoes sound great right now. And I can eat about 8 of those delicious bananas!
Good food. Good prices. Nice help. Go on...you'll leave...
Read moreI got some of their stuff off the buffet, 90 something percent of their food was old and dry, and left out forever. One of the older waitresses came and took my plate and seen it was pretty much the same food that I got, and looked at me. I said yeah it was old and dry, and she frowned at me. She went and told the younger boy at the front, and the other older skinny waitress. Both the older waitresses preceded to stare at my family the whole time we ate, and mean mugging us. After we ate our dessert she had the nerve to come and ask how the food was after I already told her how I felt, clearly trying to rush us out. Told the boy up front they need to refresh their food, and it's the worst asian buffet I've ever had in my life. Clearly these people would never eat this food, and they're probably laughing inside that the Enid people put it in their mouths and actually consume it. Complete garbage, and cannot be safe to eat I'm telling you right now. I would steer clear of this place unless you want some food poisoning or something. They would not eat the stuff that they're feeding you, I promise you that. On top of all this every single person that worked there was unfriendly, not one person said hi, welcomed us, or was friendly whatsoeve. Even the Hibachi cook and Sushi cook were very unfriendly, and said nothing just like the rest of the staff even when you...
Read moreIt was 12:15 pm and only 6 other customers when we arrived. Very small amounts of food in pans, not alot of selection like always before.most food was dry & nasty looking and cold.i told the server the food was cold so maybe the steam table needed checked. She told the man at the front counter & he seemed to find that very funny.,since he laughed about it! He told me next time to dig food out of the bottom, not the top. We paid almost $30 for food we weren't able to eat & were actually scared to eat because it was so cold. I told him this and he just laughed. We were regular customers but we will never go back. It really seems to me that with so many businesses having to close their doors, that they would care more about serving quality food, that is kept at safe and appetizing temperatures, not laugh when customers make them aware of problems. We heard the people at the table across from us also complain about how bad the food presentation was & that it tasted so cold it was like it just came out of the refrigerator.I was not rude, but I know they could have done way better,as they always...
