Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at Denny’s, accompanied by my wife and daughter. As someone who works as a Food and Beverage Director in the hotel and casino industry, I approach dining experiences with a discerning eye. This visit, however, was made special not only by the quality of the meal but by the outstanding service we received, thanks to Jessica, our server.
Jessica was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome with her friendly and upbeat demeanor. She quickly became more than just a server; she made us feel like family. As I was dining for the first time with my family, I could see why they love to sit with her. Her attentiveness was impeccable, ensuring that our needs were met without ever being intrusive.
It’s rare to encounter such personalized and thoughtful service, especially at a casual dining establishment. Jessica’s ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere is a testament to her professionalism and genuine care for her guests. Her approach made a lasting impression, and I can confidently say it elevated the entire experience.

Read moreI came in on 3/24/24 to enjoy a good meal after a long day of work! Too many issues, that will cause me not to come back! 1- My server, Zack (Zac) needs to be trained on customer service! Not friendly, never checked on me or if there was any issues or if I was satisfied. Had he did check in after serving the food, he would have been told, the steak I ordered well done (not pink) wasn’t well done. It was medium! The temperature on the food was low warm - cold.
He did check in on other people that came in after me! Highly rude in customer service setting.
2- I had ordered the apple crisp and lasagna to go! What a waste. It contained 1 tablespoon of ice cream some apples. No carmel no granola!! The lasagna had a bad stench to it, as if it was old meat. The cheese well- let’s just say it was greenish brown (No not oregano) highly disappointed, annoyed, irritated and wasted $40.49! (I’ve had this before and wasn’t like this!) I’ve gotten sick that night and was the only thing I’ve eaten since the early am day before! (3:23:24)

Read moreTruly everything was fine and the stars I do have included are for our waitress and the young woman who cashed us out at the front. We came in during the lunch rush and I wasn’t expecting them to be right on top of everything— this was the fastest I’ve ever received food, their service was amazing— cause there didn’t seem to be many people working (this has nothing to do with the workers, this is a management issue). We sat down got our menus and had our drinks taken care of. The young lady that sat us brought out coffees and waters and realized we had no silverware- again not a problem. It seemed when she went back to go get some, there wasn’t any ready. Like any reasonable employee she brought it up to the management and calmly explained the issue. In the middle of a crowded restaurant, the manager or owner or whatever he may be, raised his voice and yelled at his employee. The food sucked, we overpaid for everything, but the customer service we received from our waitress and our host was unbelievable, the only thing that made it worth it.
