I ordered food 2 weekends in a row. The first time I received my order, key components of the sandwich were missing and there were no fries. I gave them a pass and figured it was just a mistake. After placing my second order I called and made sure that everything I ordered would be in the bag. I was assured that it would be. Well, I was wrong. I ordered the same thing and guess what? No fries.
I called and talked to John the Manager. I let him know that this happened 2 weekends in a row. He immediately wanted to blame it on the delivery driver. He then said that people call hoping to get free food by saying that their order never arrived or that items were missing. He recommended that I call the delivery service. I explained that I was not looking for free items. I told him that I simply called to let John know that there was a strong possibility that his staff was not fulfilling the orders correctly. He was very nonchalant about it and said that he was "fairly" sure the fries were in the bag. That's unacceptable considering this has occurred 2 times on 2 consecutive weekends. Keep in mind that each time there was a different delivery driver. You cannot tell me that both drivers were so hungry that they both ate my fries before getting to me, on two separate occasions. Read moreDO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Placed my order and received an email the order will be ready at 756pm. Drove to the restaurant, son went in and came back empty handed. They never received my order. Fine. We asked them to make the order. Even verified the order was correct! (Wait for it) It will be 30 to 40 mins. Fine. Go home. Drive back 35 mins later. Grab food. Got in car. Look in the bag. Missing a burger. (They didn't even tell us an item was missing!) Go back in restaurant. They then tell us they no longer carry The Cure burger! They state they tried calling me. (You can clearly see my ph # on the order, how else did they get my name!). We ordered one burger with no onions, got both burgers no onions. If you want people to continue being a customer take the time to update your menu with the correct options. Don't make us get there and then tell us you don't carry your specialty items. And if they tell us it's an issue with Yelp, then stop allowing customers to order from the Yelp app. Also. Some sort of apology for making us TRAVEL TWICE to the restaurant. No apology. No substitution offer. Nothing. AND we had to ask if they were going to refund us for the burger!! (Which will take 72 hrs to receive). Has Potential, but folded miserably on 8/2. We went in around 1 pm. There were a handful of people in the bar and the non smoking area was approximately 3/4 full. With the staff they had, they were buried. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our table cleaned and drinks ordered. Our server was nice enough. She seemed to be trying the hardest however there was a large group of people in the back room I suspect she knew as she spent a lot of time back there and I'm fairly certain was eating with them. Someone needed to light a fire under the bussboy. Nothing more on that. The kitchen definitely struggled as well. It took 25 minutes for our appetizer to arrive (we had been at the restaurant about 35-40 minutes at this point). Our burgers were both severely overcooked. My girlfriend ordered the cheese stuffed burger however, by the time it arrived, there was only a hollow cavity where the cheese once was. I'm guessing it cooked/leaked out. There were some very good flavors but it was overshadowed by glaringly lackluster execution. The owners need to address the short staffing or at the very least have a supervisor on duty that will hold employees accountable. I may give them another shot. It is highly unlikely the bar...
