Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Enterprise

I was there around 4pm today in the drive thru and had a memorable experience. The drive thru speaker at this DQ is terrible as I’ve been here several times but no big deal. I ordered a cheese burger only ketchup meal and since it’s cook to order I waited at the window for my food for about 5 ish mins. At this point a line formed behind me so once I got my food I pulled up. I realized they put everything on my burger so I pulled up front since I knew the drive thru would take a long time and I wasn’t properly dressed to go inside. I called them from my car and let them know I just left the drive thru window about the burger and if they could swap it for me as I’m out front. Since the food is cook to order a lot of times they’ll have to bring it out to you so this was not a weird request. She asks me to hold and they proceed to talk mess about the situation for a whole minute not knowing I can hear them. “Why doesn’t she just go through the drive thru!?” “Why doesn’t she just come inside!?” “She did NOT order it with nothing on it!” After I sat and listened to them yell among each other the girl gets back on the phone and asks me to come inside which I happily did at that point. Once I was inside I let them know I heard everything they said over the phone and I didn’t understand why they were so mad. The whole time I was inside no one said anything or looked in my direction despite having so much to say when they thought I couldn’t hear them. There was a tall white male (whose voice I did hear), short black girl with braids, possibly short Asian girl who took phone call, and a taller white girl with glasses who was maybe the manager? As mad as I was I’m not going to go crazy in a DQ but we’ve all seen the videos of people fighting in these places and this location will be next if they try that with the wrong person. All that over a cheese burger. Throw holy water...

What is the deal with this place. 3rd Time I’ve been here and have waited 20 minutes in the drive through and there are only 2 cars ahead of me. 3rd time. It’s incredible. Where is the manger or the owner. This is the last time I’m coming to this one…….. Update I decided to got this another try and to no surprise , we had to wait for chocolate Soft serve again because sit wasn’t ready. Maybe from now on you should let people know. Hey, we only make chocolate ice cream if you order it. Every time I have ever been here chocolate soft serve is not ready and they never tell you and you end up waiting 20 minutes then when you get it, it’s not all the way frozen cause they rushed it. And the manners on these young kids that work here is mind blowing rude all the time. Seriously whoever is the manager of this place I would really like you to contact me please because I’ve had bad bad bad experiences every time I’ve been here every time I will never ever go back...

This location has some of the most customer service-oriented employees across the board. My experiences have all been via the drive-thru, and the employees ensure they get your order correct with smiling faces. I typically order the Honey Barbeque Glazed Chicken strip basket with fries and buttery toast.

The buttery toast at this location tastes scrumptious! The bread is soft, and every time I take a bite, the butter shoots into the inside of my cheek. Whatever they are doing should be taught to other Dairy Queen restaurants because I ordered the Glazed Chicken Strip basket at a different location in North Las Vegas, and the bread wasn't as soft and buttery at this restaurant. The bread is so good that I have routinely substituted fries for an extra toast, and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend eating the toast immediately, because if you let it cool, it's not as good.
