I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I come to this bar several times a week, and normally have great experiences with the late night bartenders. Today, I was extremely unfortunate because the GM was tending bar. I ordered a jameson ginger, a drink I have multiple times a week (and I am 30 years old; I've had my fair share of it) the drink was disgusting - the was not one single bubble it in, and it tasted very off as if a different brand of whiskey was poured. No big deal, things happen. I had to ask a different employee about it because the GM was completely ignoring us. I let the girl know the drink tasted a bit off, maybe the soda was flat, whatever. She said they would remake it for me. 10 minutes I sat there and waited. The GM continues to ignore me, look at her phone, anything she could do to spite me because I had a small complaint. After a while, I finally smiled at her and said Hi! when she was walking by. She instantly started in on me, saying "I don't want to make you another one if you're just gonna not like it either. I can give you a jameson Sprite. What did you even think it tasted like?" I tried to explain the soda was 100% flat and the whiskey didn't taste right. She kept arguing with me and acted like a petulant child. Extremely unprofessional behavior. I finally stopped her and said I didn't want to order any more drinks, I would just take my tab. She turned and walked away and ignored us again for over 10 minutes. All I wanted to do was pay for the rest of the parties drinks and leave. But I had to ask 2 other employees for the tab before I finally got to cash out. The other waitress was horrified and apologizing up and down, saying she's a nightmare to work with. The waitress said the GM refused to come over to give us her tab because she was embarrassed so the girl had to cash us out.
You are no GM. The only thing you're managing is running the business into the ground. We are there 3+ times a week, and will never ever return. I can't believe I was recommending this place to someone earlier today. The GM is a joke of a manager, "bartender" and human in general. Good luck, you won't ever see us...
Read moreThis place was terrible. Went here with my wife and son for lunch to celebrate his 5th birthday. We were the only ones in the restaurant area and the server was non-existent. Tried to order peperoni pizza pasta off the kids menu and they didn't have marinara or pepperoni... so chicken fingers it was. My wife got a wrap, I got a salad. After 20 minutes the food came out. The wrap's chicken was dry, like cooked some other time and reheated. The chicken fingers were also dry, so much so that there was a pocket between the chicken and the breading that my son could put his finger in. My salad was warm, the dressing had a film on top from sitting out. I asked for different dressing, a ranch and a honey mustard. I was charged $0.50 each. When we finished eating we cleaned the entire table stacking our plates at the end, yet we still struggled to get the server's attention while she greeted a 5-top, got their drink order, then their drinks, and then took food order, all before coming to check on us. When she did come over, I had my credit card out and she said she'd be happy to go run that for me... Gee, thanks!
I think that what gets under my skin the most is that we were obviously making a big deal about my son going to a restaurant for his birthday, the server was standing there several times as we mentioned it, and she didn't even say "happy birthday" or "can I get him a scoop of ice cream for his birthday" even as an upsell. I don't want any handouts, but as someone who has worked in the service industry before, it's about making the guests experience memorable so that they want to come back. Instead, it was the exact opposite.
Bottom line is the food was terrible and the service wasn't any better. Look elsewhere, there are far too many other places in the area that offer better food and service for...
