Ordinary pizza at extraordinary prices! The service is also HORRIBLE with one exception. First and likely last visit. I went here for lunch earlier today as a fan of NY style pizza because a friend of mine from back east spoke very highly of the place. They have a $15 all you can eat pizza special from 2-5 PM which makes it affordable, its ridiculously overpriced otherwise! Their small 8" pizzas starting at over $15. The guy who greeted us is my exception to the terrible service I mentioned above. He told us about their all you can wat special when we first walked in and was very cool; by the way he spoke it was obvious that he was either a great manager or the owner himself, taking time to explain which pizza is which and what toppings are on what. Right after we sat down with our first two slices he vanished though, leaving the place to a heavy set Hispanic girl who was also the cashier that I unfortunately tipped $5 before we ate. On my first trip back she rolled her eyes and sighed heavily before asking, "what do you need sir?" in an extremely obnoxious tone. Unlike him she had ZERO interest in answering any questions about the 10 unlabeled cooked pizzas they have on display. To avoid asking her anything else and risk further awkwardly interrupting her chill session with her coworker I got two pieces of pizza with feta, black olives, and fresh tomatoes, but the tomatoes (imho) were cut too thick making the pizza very soggy so I didnt finish them. On my second trip back to get 2 new slices the same girl had her back to the counter talking to her coworker working the kitchen, and clearly knew I was there as the other girl she was chatting with was looking right at me over her shoulder. She made me wait a solid minute until she was finished chatting before even turning around and acknowledging my presence with another big roll of her eyes and annoyed sigh for having the nerve to interrupt her conversation. On a side note they don't ask for your name when you order, so when they call out that your food is ready they say the name of the pizza which is completely random and it's hard to tell who's is who's easily if there are other customers waiting. When the slices were hot she said something inaudible and sat the slices on a counter next to the register with no barrier where everyone in line has a chance to stick their face in your food to examine it while breathing and coughing on it as they see fit. Which is exactly what happened with my food after she said something inaudible to call it out and left it to sit there for 2-3 minutes until I realized it was mine and had to squeeze back through the line of people breathing on it to grab it. To add insult to injury, not 30 seconds after I sat down again that same rude cashier that I had already tipped and that left my food to get coughed on actually brought the food to the people sitting in booth behind us. I dont know what her deal was. If someone tips me 25% I treat them like VIP's. Instead I felt like an unwelcome nuisance and left regretting having tipped at all. Needless to say I wont be going back or recommending this place to anyone without an apology and either better training for his current employees or some new staff with professional attitudes instead of making customers feel like an unwelcome nuisance that dares to interrupt their gossip sessions with...
Read moreSwinging by Joe's New York Pizza on Paradise Road before my flight was a fantastic decision, and it’s easy to see why this spot has such a stellar reputation! The pepperoni pizza was an absolute delight—hot, fresh, and boasting a crispy base that crunched with every bite, paired with a rich, tangy sauce made from fresh red tomatoes and perfectly melted mozzarella that screamed authentic New York-style. I couldn’t resist trying their award-winning Grande pepperoni pizza slices, and they were a game-changer—massive slices cut from enormous pies, each one loaded with gourmet Italian pepperoni, roasted red peppers, and a burst of flavor that justified their multiple International Pizza Challenge awards. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service; Jessica, in particular, was a star, always smiling, organized, and ensuring every detail was perfect, while the entire staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like valued guests. With its convenient location just 1.2 miles from the Strip, this pizzeria is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious pizza and top-notch service before heading to...
