DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I'm not sure what management or the franchise was thinking at this place but my kids and I will never return here, there are better places to spend your money.... especially the other SkyZone in Summerlin.
Let's start with the ridiculously idiotic REQUIREMENTS that you have to wear their SkyZone shirt and SkyZone socks...that's right, socks. My daughter was wearing her socks given to her at the other SkyZone and my son was wearing his Flip-n-out Extreme trampoline socks. They were both BANNED from jumping and climbing in the FOAM pit because they were not wearing this SkyZones branded socks. Are you friggen kidding me ? I explained to staff that they were both SkyZone socks and trampoline socks and they still banned my kids. They went and got the manager who tried to convince me that the SkyZone socks at that location were patented to the trampolines at that specific location. What a bunch of bull. I Ask what does that have to do with the foam pit? Are the pieces of foam patented to the socks and shirts and won't function without branded clothes ? Regardless of whether they give you the shirt and socks with your expensive admission you are still paying for it. In a town built on hospitality and customer engagement I don't think I have ever been to a place that REQUIRES you to wear their clothes to stay and play.
If that isn't enough to convince you to go elsewhere, let me talk about the actual facility itself for a minute. Outside of a bounce basketball court and a raised obstacle course it's about the same as all the other trampoline places. Although the raised obstacle course was not open and looked like it had not been open in some time because of the dust. We were there on a Saturday evening and they closed the restrooms at about 9:20 for cleaning and did not open them back up again the rest of the time we were there until I complained. They also closed the concession stand at 9pm. Most employees were more focused on cleaning and closing the place down an hour before closing. The place was disgustingly dirty all over. There was a guy cleaning the tables but couldn't seem to get a table cleaned in more than 10 minutes. We waited for a table to be cleaned so long we just went to another place to sit. In most trampoline places there are cubby's to put your kids shoes but not here. Wanting to squeeze every dime out of you there are only paid lockers.
The price, although in-line with other trampoline places is still very steep. It's interesting when you compare the cost of a six flags season pass to the costs of a monthly pass at SkyZone. There isn't any value in my opinion with these prices. $26 for 90 minutes. That's $50 for two kids for an hour and a half...simply ridiculous.
Last there is the membership. We have watched over the years this place go from Gravidy to Defy and then to SkyZone (at least at the summerlin location). Not sure what happened but it's annoying to say the least as a long time customer. During the Defy to SkyZone transition last year we were able to use our Elite Membership at SkyZone in Florida and Georgia as well as here at home in Las Vegas. We loved it, it was similar to our six flags season passes. However, no more. This SkyZone will not honor our Summerlin Elite pass at all. Why? What does the SkyZone franchise not understand about this and why couldn't they figure it out for their customers. When I asked for the District manager contact information I was denied and told to email them from the website....the same website that shows all SkyZones. I was not happy being blown off like that. The manager was understanding and helpful but the franchise policies are crazy.
Just imagine that your 24 hour fitness membership wasn't honored at another club AND you had to pay for this club and buy this clubs Tshirt and socks to be able to workout....simply outrageous.
Enough of my complaints, there are too many places here here in Las Vegas to spend your hard earned money that this place. Check out the others before you give this place...
Read moreI don't like to leave negative reviews as I only leave reviews to businesses that deserve to get noticed for the exceptional service. Please note my past reviews. I will just keep it as informative as possible for future customers who would like to avoid issues.
If you are planning to go to Sky Zone, make sure you call ahead before your scheduled time and ask what will be available for your party to enjoy for full price tickets.
Our family arrived at Sky Zone on 08/12/2022 at our scheduled time after purchasing tickets at full price.
We were not asked to sign waivers
We weren't asked for anything other than the proof of purchase for an hour and half of time.
We counted 4 total front facing employees the entire time we were there.
The employee at the counter wrote down the wrong time on our stickers for other employees to know when our time expired, which was half an hour early than we purchased.
Instead of reissuing the stickers with the right time, the employee simply stated that other employees won't make a big deal of it.
The last issue we ran into was that a majority of the attractions and sections were closed and blocked off and there was no mention of this by the employees or anyone else after we arrived.
Several trampolines that were open we're cautioned taped off and kids were allowed in the area but informed to stay off of half the areas that were opened.
We stayed the entire time and the kids were disappointed as they were looking forward to an entire park to experience and we as parents were disappointed at the lack of communication and lack of commitment to the customer to rectify the situation prior to being told by our kids regarding the lack of access when we were charged full price for less than half the park.
However, all the paid services from the ticket counter desk to the food area were fully staffed.
Meanwhile Birthday parties were still scheduled despite the lack of open areas of the park. Bathrooms were out of hand soap and the stalls had feces on the walls.
Again, please call ahead or find better alternatives until the business corrects itself from whatever reason it presented its services. I recommend Defy or anything that is closer to your area and/or better prepared to serve the customer fairly and honestly.
Note: I take into consideration lack of resources and employee availability, however, I don't support businesses that take advantage of the lack of transparency and inability to provide a paid in full service at less than half advertized capability and capacity.
I do not take nor expect anything from my reviews or associated with the companies that I review. So, I do not voice this lightly and don't adjust my reviews without honest commitments and actions to present the expected services as they are promoted...
Read moreWe wanted to come in for the Little Leapers (between 1-2pm) as it’s for ages 6 and under so less crowded and earlier admission. We arrived yesterday at 1:20 and waited 10 minutes for an attendant just to be told the Groupon isn’t eligible for Little Leapers. She told us we would have to pay $10ea for 30 minutes and then we could use our Groupon after 2. I thought that was kind of silly as the Groupon didn’t specify not being able to use it towards Little Leapers and our $13 Groupon was more than the Little Leaper pricing. We wanted to use our Groupon towards our 90 min allotment as anyone with little children typically understand 2pm is prime nap time.
I didn’t want to essentially pay double, so we went to the Bass Pro Shop and then returned. We had a much better interaction with the gentleman checking us in. I wasn’t able to catch his name, but the gentleman wearing the white shirt and black jacket, thank you for turning our initial experience around!
Most things were open with the exception of the Ninja course overhead. Staff were friendly and monitoring the areas. It wasn’t very crowded when we went. I can see where older kids running around might pose a safety issue. We were with our kids and taking note of our surroundings. A note of caution when going on the orange drop slide, remove glasses as you face plop into the mat after catching air.
We purchased a 90 min Groupon, excluding the required $5ea Skyzone socks. It wouldn’t have been worth full price, as even our 1 year old needed a ticketed entry and the required socks. Overall we had a great time. Our 1 year old enjoyed the foam pit and our 3 year old enjoyed the drop zone stairs.
For little ones, Kids Empire or Uptown Jungle might be...
