Sushi Mon — Restaurant in Enterprise

I would have given this place 3 stars if it wasn’t for the hair on my fried tempura ice cream. I mentioned it to the lady/hostess and even showed her the hair and all she said was, “this couldn’t be because everyone wears a mask”. I responded, “well the masks doesn’t prevent hair on your food”. She brushed it off as if I was the one who placed that hair. If that hair wasn’t so deep inside, the ice cream, I’d see her pout but really?!?!

Given these times (the pandemic), I feel like that lady should have been more respectful and cautious of what she would say. They’re lucky I haven’t reported them to the health department for that reason alone.

I wasn’t impressed. Their rolls were mediocre. We ordered octopus & tuna poké, literally 1 scoop and you’ll be done.The nigiri were fine, seemed like rice portion was too much for the size of the fish.

This place WAS a goldmine of sushi and just good food. They've raised prices on everything across the board and the quality has just gone downhill. They can't even keep half their staff for more than a month or two before they have to train someone again, and in the process their service has suffered for it. To give an example, I called today to put in an order... the person on the other end took my order and then hung up on me. At this point, I knew something was off. I had to call back to find out the total as she never gave it to me before hanging up. Upon doing so though, I find out she didn't even put the order in and I had to order AGAIN. I then drive myself to Sushi-mon and get ready to pay for my order. She hands me only half my order and doesn't realize she's missing half of it until I mention that is the case as I tend to order the exact same thing. She also tried to charge me for something I didn't order and I had to challenge that and showed them exactly what I ordered. They removed the item I did not order and I paid the corrected amount. In the end, the repeated sorry's did not improve the poor quality of the service or food. If service and food are a sign of good management, then Sushi-mon is just...

We went for lunch AYCE. Very good service. The food was delicious. The AYCE scallops were sweet with a hint of lime. It was our favorite. The green muscles were outstanding. We ordered several of those! Shrimp tempura was good too. Some of the best calamari we've had at a sushi restaurant. The poke salad was yummy and so was the sashimi salad.

If you love sushi rolls then you will love this place. They have a large variety and everything tastes fresh. They don't offer sashimi for lunch and the nigiri was very good but not a huge selection to choose from.

The rice under the nigiri and in the rolls wasn't very sticky. It didn't hold together well. Maybe it was a bad batch (cooks error??) I can't be sure until I come back and try again (which I plan on doing).

They give a punch card which is a really nice incentive to make this your "go-to" sushi spot. After all, who doesn't love free AYCE sushi??

The price is average as compared to other all you could eat sushi places.
