Very disappointed! I had to repeat my name three times. The young lady at the drive-through never repeated it back to me so I don’t think she heard me or wasn’t paying attention. Then I had a couple of add-ons, which is one of the things that I love about salad and go. And then I removed blue cheese crumbles, and blue cheese dressing. With no substitution for the dressing. And I got through the drive-through and I paid I got my receipt. My receipt did not say no blue cheese dressing or blue cheese crumbles so when I got my salad, I immediately looked at it and I said excuse me is there blue cheese crumbles in this salad? The young lady at the drive-through replied did you ask for blue cheese crumbles? I said no I asked for the removed. And she assured me then it doesn’t have blue cheese crumble inside. I said thank you and I drove off. When I got home and prepared my salad, there were blue cheese crumbles inside of my salad underneath the lettuce I really don’t want to think that someone would deliberately put an item on someone’s food when they have asked for it to be removed. You don’t know if that could harm me And then if that’s the case, then you meant to deliberately hurt me. That’s assault! Location Maryland Parkway in Silverado...
Read moreI’m all for convenience and fresh spins on fast food—but this new Salad and Go missed the mark by miles. I stopped by the Silverado Ranch location, caught off guard that it was drive-through only. Fine—I rolled with it. Ordered the Tokyo To-Go Bowl with beef, and what I got felt more like a culinary ghost of what it promised. Dry rice with no hint of life or seasoning Maybe a whisper of carrot and red cabbage 4 lonely cucumber slices A precious ounce (if that) of beef Teriyaki sauce so sweet it drowned every other note It tasted more like regret than nourishment. I paid $11 for something not even my dogs would entertain. The trash can got the final bite, and I got a lesson: sometimes “fresh” branding isn’t backed by fresh food—or care. I won’t be circling that drive-through again. And if you're hoping for flavor or value, even McDonald’s might feel gourmet...
Read moreBeen to this location twice. First time was great (minus soggy tomatoes). No other complaints. Rest of the salad was fresh, tasty and inexpensive.
However, went 6/29 and had no tomatoes, no ranch, jalepeno ranch, or Greek dressing. These were the things we were told when trying to order (got the sense they were out of others stuff as well). Mid order the person taking our order stopped responding, so we drove off. Would have stuck around, but one of us wanted the Greek dressing on their Greek salad and grew discouraged with the out of stocks.
This chain is good and will be back. Hopefully with growing popularity, they will...
