Read moreI placed a takeout order in person for my wife and I. I received three separate containers. I ordered the Mapo tofu and the beef noodles. I received 3 containers and went home to dine. 2 containers were noodles and 1 was the broth but no Mapo Tofu. No biggie, I called the restaurant and spoke to Brandon. He at first apologized and said that if I’m willing to come back to the restaurant they won’t charge me for the Mapo Tofu…. So I said why would you charge me for an order I have never received. He apologized and stated that it was their mistake and that he will not charge me for my order. So I clarified with him that they will comp my Tofu. He said yes. I dragged my ass back down to the restaurant and spoke to Brandon. He stated that the kitchen has not made my order yet and that he’ll bring it to me. I waited a few minutes and he dropped the order off to me and said that I’m good to go. I inquired about the comp. He immediately backed out of what he said. He said, I told you in the phone that I won’t charge you for the order if you come back to pick it up. I said yes. I’m here picking up the order. He than said ok. So what’s the problem? I said the problem is that I never received my original order and that you said you were going to comp my order. He said why would I comp an order that you have received? I replied, you offered to comp my order because of the inconvenience of have to come back for my food that was missing from my order. The food is good but the service is terrible. I will not be coming back to this establishment.
Update:
So a day after I made this post. The restaurant manager contacted me and inquired about my experience. She was very apologetic and sincere in rectifying the situation. She offered to comp my family’s next meal with them. I assured her that was the furthest thing from my mind. I tanked her for her personal attention to making a wrong thing right.
I have dined at this establishment 2 other times within the last month and the service is top notch. The manager promised change and she has done just that. The staff is...
Read moreI have been doing drive bys on the restaurant for a good while now they are finally open. I waiting until they were open for a bit before going there. I finally stopped in last week. And just like the sign stated they have no 1st come 1st served I had completely zoned on the fact in order to eat in doors you must have reservations. I opted for take out. I ordered wonton soup, mushroom chicken noodle, and fried rice. I also ordered thin noodles with my soup and mushroom chicken. The soup was tasty. The broth had a lot of depth to it. It had some veg in it.The broth is not your typical clear broth this one is milky in color. The serving is plenty big for 2 people The mushroom chicken was very flavorful and they use a few types of mushrooms. They didn't spare pm ingredients quality like most places and more again portion is big enough for 2. And that leaves us with the fried rice. What a simple dish you might say to your self, but it was so bland and the rice was pretty much white, not entirely sure if it was stir fried Overall not a bad place. It gets quite busy on Fri and Sat nights. Its only 1300 sq ft inside. Would i go there again. Probably but I think i would order something...
