I recently visited Kogi Korean Barbecue and Hot Pot, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. Located in a vibrant area, Kogi offers a perfect blend of traditional Korean flavors and a modern dining atmosphere.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff who made sure we were comfortable and well-informed about the menu options. The restaurant's decor is sleek and contemporary, with a lively yet cozy ambiance that sets the stage for an enjoyable meal.
The highlight of Kogi is undoubtedly its dual concept of Korean barbecue and hot pot. This allows diners to enjoy the best of both worlds in one sitting. We started with the Korean barbecue, and the quality of the meats was exceptional. The beef short ribs and marinated pork belly were tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection right at our table. The array of banchan (side dishes) provided a delightful variety of flavors and textures that complemented the meats beautifully.
Next, we moved on to the hot pot, which was equally impressive. We chose the spicy broth and were thrilled with its rich, robust flavor. The selection of fresh ingredients—ranging from thinly sliced beef and seafood to a variety of vegetables and noodles—was extensive and allowed us to customize our hot pot experience to our liking. The broth developed an even deeper flavor as the ingredients cooked, creating a comforting and satisfying meal.
What truly sets Kogi apart is the exceptional service. The staff were attentive and helpful, offering tips on how to best cook the meats and ensuring our dining experience was seamless. They frequently checked in on us, refilling drinks and replenishing side dishes without us having to ask.
Overall, Kogi Korean Barbecue and Hot Pot offers an outstanding dining experience that is both fun and delicious. The combination of high-quality ingredients, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone who loves Korean cuisine. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a fantastic meal, Kogi is the perfect destination. I highly recommend it and look forward to...

I have driven past this place several times and never made it in. However it is 2 of my fav things. KBBQ & HotPot. How can you possibly go wrong. The meats and flavors could be endless.
Upon entering it was already busy. I went on Yelp but the waitlist said it was closed. However upon entering it was open I am assuming and the line was long. Not to bad I was 7th with a 30 minute wait. Once my time was up and it was pretty on point with the timeline, I was called and ushered over to a table. Menus were given and drink order taken. Our server asked what else did we want in the hotpot as they bring it all together and place it on the cooktop for you. Then at that point you just let it cook and enjoy once completed.
Opted for the Sukiyaki Bulgogi HotPot, Tomahawk, Ribeye, House Salad, King Kalbi, Ribeye Bulgogi, Mango Mochi, Corn Cheese, rice, and of course the banchan was placed on the table. Can I say dang I should have tried this place so long ago. Previously one of my family members taught me how to properly cook KBBQ and I think I am getting pretty good at this, with the seasonings to ask for, oils, and dipping sauces. So this made for a fabulous night to celebrate. There is a condiment station on the table with small plastic dipping containers for you to concoct your flavors. Loved this!!!!
Interior is quite large. There are several booths that adorn the walls. Each with its own grill and cooktop. In the middle are the larger tables for groups. Each table has its own venting to remove smoke. If a lot of cooktops/grilles are going, be prepared it is going to be warm. JS - my table was very well taken care of. The interior is neat to look at with some of the decorations that are placed throughout.
Would most def recommend - pricing is reasonable especially for what you are getting. KBBQ & HotPot together for one price and it is AYCE, you really cant beat that. I will truly be back as I am going to bring more people with...
Read moreFirst let me tell you that the FOOD IS 5 STAR! Also my favorite when visiting Las Vegas! BUT, after waiting 1.5 hours (which is worth the wait) we were seated and again we waited. Two other tables sat AFTER us and both of them we attended to before a waiter whizzed by and said "I'll be right with you boss!" He went to the order station and then left for the kitchen. We finally stopped the female waiter at the adjacent table and with a nasty tone asked "what is going on? Why are you waiting on them when they were seated after us"? As she started to explain that we were not in her section, the waiter who said he would be right with us came up to the table and told her that he would get us in a second! Of course I got upset and asked for the manager. Well, guess who the manager is? The whizzed by "Boss" waiter! The female waiter was so sweet and said she would take our order but the manger said he would take care of us. I said there is no way I want you to be our waiter, and he replied then you can leave, "you want to go, then leave! Go, go ahead leave!" I said we waited already over an hour and a half and just wanted to eat! He said again, "you can leave if you want to!" I was shocked and told him that if he worked for me he would be fired on the spot! What kind of a manger does not diffuse a situation like what was happening and tell guests to leave? His name is Franklin and the female waiter is Krishtene. Krishtene told Franklin that she would take care of us and she filled the manager position much better than him. All I can say is that watch out for the waiter/manager Franklin who will...
