Restaurant prices and wait times for subpar quality. Waited 40+ minutes, had a family served ahead of us despite us being first in line and didn't get our food until well after they finished. Prices have been inflated and don't reflect the true value of what you're eating (nor is there any updated signage showing the current cost of what you actually pay). Carne asada burrito was 3/4 refried beans with a sprinkle of meat and had no added flavor; tasted like the beans came straight from a can. Carnitas tacos were extremely dry and a good portion of the meat was hard. Carne asada fries tasted exactly like frozen crinkle cuts that you get from the store, not fresh potatoes. I used to love this taco truck and haven't been in a while, they always had some of the best tacos and carne asada fries around. Today, I decided to visit again, but was so disappointed. It seems like they've gotten new owners or management because everything was different—the people, the atmosphere, and unfortunately, the food. My sister and I couldn't even eat what we ordered. They put cabbage on our tacos, the fries were undercooked, and the meat was completely unseasoned. To top it off, they only gave us red sauce and no green, which was always my favorite. I just happened to stumble upon this food truck while on my search for food and I’m so glad I did. The food was delicious and the employees were great! I ordered burritos and I was satisfied.
