My pickup time was 1:15, I did not leave with my food until 1:45 and they still forgot my drinks and i had to remind them, this entirely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead, theres no excuse because they have a completely different team at a food bar to make all of the takeout orders separate from the people coming in. I was told they were just waiting for steak but they continued to serve steak to everybody coming in to order. I was also waiting with 3-5 other people that had been waiting for there food anywhere from 10 minutes past their pickup time to 30 minutes past their pickup time. The staff was extremely unprofessional and obviously not properly trained. They had at least 10-15 employees working and still could not make orders properly or on time, the employees started bickering with eachother in front of myself and other customers because they werent handling things properly. I watched them make a family wait at least 10 minutes just to pay for their food at the register after it had already been made. I also witnessed a severe health code violation where a woman making the online orders dropped an order ticket on the ground, with her gloves on picked it up off the ground put it back on the counter with food and continue to make food with the same gloves on, i told who I’m assuming was the manager about it and all she did was go tell the employee however she did not make her clean the whole counter and replace the food that would have then been contaminated. After all of this I simply wanted to leave and I have now later tried to call the store 4 times to get a managers name and speak with them about this incident and I have been hung up on every single time before i could even get a word out. I could continue to go on however this should be enough to deter anybody from visiting this location until they completely shut down and retrain the...
Read moreNormally, I would leave a note with a manager, but in this case I felt that the world should know that Amber deserves public praise.
This is for Amber who was working hard to serve the orders and cashier as the line piled up. Amber handled the orders of the two customers ahead of us and ours by herself. I was able to watch her meticulous hygienic handwashing after she had to step aside to take care of something in the back kitchen. Although it can be stressful to hustle through the tasks by oneself, Amber did it and was exceptionally kind in apologizing for the wait that was not her fault. I told her she was doing great and her manager should know about this.
There were two other guys at the time cooking and handling prep, they were working conscientiously and cleaning. Praise to them too.
This place has just opened and I am glad Ephrata has one! I guess there are going to be some hiccups, but I would rather have kind, hardworking people in training making my food as they will get better with time. Repetative work is easy to train, but kindness, cleanliness, a friendly smile, and hard work are not something that can be easily trained.
By the time we left, the line increased substantially and more workers came out to help.
My cooking is not the best, but my loving family is patient with me; but I am not so patient with myself so I eat at Chipotle. Hopefully, the loving Ephrata community will support this new operation and cheer the staff on with kind words...
Read more9/8 1pm I go in and order a bowl with brown rice, black beans, chicken and cheese. The first few bites were fine, tasted just like it was supposed to. THEN I take another bite and it tasted like I had put an entire spoonful of salt into my mouth. I certainly wasn't expecting that Chipotle...next bite same thing. I take it to the counter and explain that I'm not sure who went wild with the salt and I wasn't sure what ingredient was over salted, all I know is someone screwed something up and it screwed up my lunch. The employees just stared at me, like I had a third eye. Basically they said that wasn't possible, and what do you want us to do about it. Why would I possibly inconvenience myself enough to stop eating my lunch, just to complain about something petty??? My food wasn't edible. So the stareing contest continued. I just wanted an edible lunch and it was so cringey the way these employees treated me. After much awkwardness, they finally asked what I wanted them to do about it. I said I want what I ordered, but put white rice in instead. I wish I would have taken a picture of what they deemed I deserved. The employees are extremely childish to make a customer feel like they shouldn't have said anything at all. Why should I flush $15 down the toilet because this business is being ran by weird judgy kids? Boo Chipotle boo👎1/10 experience definitely would...
