Opening day at Texas Roadhouse! Much better than opening day of Americas “past time” (not a sport). Just a quick 5 mile walk from our living quarters lies delicious steak and ribs. Mmmmmmya lips smackin good. Despite the crowds we were promptly seated. Our server, Kiera, was attentive to the dining experience. She emphasized the deliciousness of the rolls and even offered another basket before we even ate 1. Drink refills were delivered right before the last sip. She answered all menu questions knowledgeably and made good suggestions. Although the inflation of the past 4 years has destroyed the affordability of this restaurant, I would say the potions increased in size. I ordered a full slab of ribs and was only able to eat half, so dinner for another night. They were cooked well and fell off the bone. Some slight dryness but smeh it was good overall. 100% will return and recommend to friends but not foes. Send the foes to Applebees.

On my way to Ephrata, this place exceeded my expectations. The country fried steak was exceptional and, unlike other locations, was a full steak that was not flattened completely by a tenderizer. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, which is how I like them. The green beans were in the southern style with bacon and onions, the style I always prefer. The twisted mozzarella appetizer was fried to perfection with no cheese melted away. The bread was nice and warm and the cinnamon butter is always a good topping for their fresh-baked bread. The sweet tea was brewed in the southern style that is very sweet, which is how I like mine. The atmosphere and the staff were also welcoming, with the staff performing a few dances supporting Texas Roadhouse. If you love a good steak dinner and are in Northeast Lancaster, this is your destination!

I took my husband to dinner for Father's Day. The call ahead for reservations works great. That's about all that I can say positive about the meal. My husband ordered filet mignon, well done and I ordered ribeye medium well. Both came out RARE! A woman said to cut mine in half, middle was still not right but she thought it was. We told our waiter that my husband's was not cooked well done. He looked at it and didn't have anything to say. I know it was a particularly busy day but IF YOU'RE A STEAKHOUSE, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO COOK THE STEAKS TO ORDER!!!!! I took my entire ribeye home for the dogs so my dinner consisted of string beans and baked potato. Please tell me why we should go back to Texas Roadhouse, Ephrata? My medium well ribeye pictured below.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel like this one called for it. I haven’t been to TRH in several years, as I’ve always preferred Longhorn, but with the location being convenient, my partner and I decided to go for dinner. We walked in and the place was incredible, the wait staff was kind and as always, the rolls were delicious. We asked for the Cactus Blossom, of course, I ordered the ribeye and he ordered the porterhouse, both medium rare. Our cactus blossom came out only about 1 minute before our steaks. We hadn’t even had the chance to try it yet, haha. No big deal, of course. Though, I was quite shocked at the speed of service. Our steaks came out, as well as his chili and sweet potato and my corn and mashed potatoes. The first thing I went to do was cut my steak and my stomach turned. It was completely raw. I cut it away from the bone and in 3 other sections around the middle. Raw. It was almost as if they seared it on all sides and put it on my plate. I’ve never had to send a meal back to the kitchen, but this time, I absolutely did. While my steak was taken away, another waiter came to our table, with another bowl of chili and green beans that we never ordered, seemingly confused as the ticket he carried said we had ordered it. We laughed it off and continued our visit. Eventually, my steak came back. I was completely under the impression that I would receive an entirely new steak. Nope, I was wrong. After the manager had taken my steak away from me, moved it around with his hands to see the raw meat, and take it back to the kitchen, I got the exact same steak back. A different manager had brought it back out and saw the look on my face when I realized. All she could say was “those spaces will appear more well done since they’ve been cut”. I kept my mouth shut and cut another portion of the steak to see if it was cooked. It was, but this time it was a well cook. I was completely over it and told her it was fine (the people pleaser in me) and began to cut it into pieces. I slowly realized that STILL about 1/3 of my steak was raw!! I consumed a small amount of it, by the way it was hardly seasoned at all, and decided to just eat my sides and try to enjoy the rest of my time there when I saw my partner continuing to cut his steak. His porterhouse was ALSO PARTIALLY RAW!! How the heck can you send out meat like that?! I immediately told him to stop eating it as I was scared we would both become sick. For steaks being $30 and $35, I would expect so much more than that. We ended up having a bill totaling almost $100 and couldn’t even eat the food we were given. I just don’t see how any of this is acceptable at all. Our poor waitress apologized profusely, but as someone who previously worked in food service, I knew it was not her fault in the slightest. We paid the bill and left, irritated and still hungry. I only wish I had taken photos...

We have visited this location well over a dozen times, including their first day open. If it had not been for our last visit this past Sunday I would have given 5 stars. In fact, based on all our other visits is the only reason we gave as high as 4 stars. But they really dropped the ball on Sunday which stinks because we brought our extended family in for a birthday celebration. We came in at 11am when they open because we had a large party of 9. We asked if it would be a problem having so many, we were assured it was all good. We were seated at two different booths across from each other. Not ideal, but we understand if the restaurant isn't set up for larger groups. We were told we'd have two separate servers, ummm ok, the only thing we asked was for everyone's food to come out at the same time. Since we were there right at opening time, we were surprised how long our food order took. Then when half of our party got there food, the other booth, we didn't say anything hoping the rest was to follow. It didn't. In fact they were finishing up their food when ours finally came out. We don't like to complain, so nothing was said, even though we politely asked as soon as we sat down for all the food to be served together. Once we finally got our food half the plates were cold. We decided again not to complain until one of the plates had a steak that was very cold (and not done rare) and zero seasoning. We had two people in our party get that exact dish and the other person had a hot, seasoned steak. The manager came over and was nice, not super friendly like the other manager we've seen in there before, she offered a new steak. You'd think it would come out in a timely manner. Nope! Everyone was finished eating, left overs packed up, billed paid and still waiting for the steak. Obviously it was packed to go. Disappointed in this experience because all other times service, food, drinks, all top notch. This time we bring our family and well it just...

Came to celebrate my sons birthday, we were seated in a timely manner. Ordered apps, drinks and our dinner. We were seated at 6:13pm. Apps, drinks came but food never did. Waiter came by once to check on us after we got our apps but never again after that. At 7:15 he came to our table to say "I saw you guys still sitting and thought to check on your food only to realize I never fully submitted it to the kitchen". An ENTIRE HOUR WE WAITED FOR OUR FOOD!!! At this point we're so furious that we came hungry and are now forced to leave hungry because we just didnt have another hour to wait on our food. I get mistakes happen blah blah but my goodness this is beyond. The server didn't offer any other accommodations only asked he he could fix us dome rolls to go or if we could wait for our food he would push to the front of the kitchen. Again that means we have to sit even longer. At the time we didn't ask for for a manager because we didn't want to speak out of anger so we paid for our app and drinks (thats the kind of ppl we are). However I didn't feel it was justified for leave hungry after waiting an hr so I called the restaurant asked to speak to manager long story short she focused more of defending the staff member's mistake and repeatedly said "you should have asked for anything manger, our goal is to feed everyone" after a little back and forth of expressing the disservice she finally cut me off and said "best I can do is give you a dinner for 2 on us, asked what our total would have been and then assumed we didn't pay for the drinks and apps which I told her we did. She asked what email she can send the voucher to, verified it was correct and said she would send it out tonight. Here we are at midnight and what do you know, no emailed voucher....
